Carefully renovated "Podere La Massa" consists of a detached house and 8 apartments. It is surrounded by olive groves, fields and it enjoys a wonderful view over the Chianti hills. It is a very quiet position, ideal for nature lovers to enjoy walks or bicycle runs in the surroundings area. Each apartment has its private outdoor area fenced by hedges. A few kilometres away there are the Castello di Brolio (18 km), Meleto (14 km), Vertine (12 km) and Badia a Coltibuono and Spaltenna. Volley ball court and mini-football pitch. Children playground. Rustic, simple large working farm "La Massa". 10 km from the centre of Gaiole in Chianti, 13.5 km from the centre of Radda in Chianti, 43 km from the centre of Siena, in a secluded, quiet, elevated position, in the countryside. For shared use: natural garden 2 ha, swimming pool (14 x 7 m, depth 100 - 250 cm, seasonal availability: 04.May. - 28.Sep.). Outdoor shower, volleyball court, garden furniture, children's playground (slide). In the complex: WiFi, washing machine (for shared use), heating to be paid on the spot, heating available only from 01.11. to 07.04.. Bread roll service on request. Motor access to the house (4 km via unmade road). Parking at the house. Shop 5 km, restaurant 5 km, railway station "Montevarchi" 10 km, thermal baths "Rapolano Terme" 45 km. Nearby attractions: Castelnuovo Berardenga 19 km, Castellina in Chianti 24 km, Greve in Chianti, San Donato 30 km, Badia a Passignano 34 km, San Gimignano 52 km, Firenze 65 km.     “Saubere, gepflegte Wohnung. Alles da, bis auf eine vernünftige Küche für 14-16 Personen. Leider fehlt der angegebene Backopfen, was die Kochmöglichkeiten enorm einschränkt.
    Hier sollte nachgebessert werden.

    Schwimmbad und Sportmöglichkeiten waren der Hit.”

    “wir hatten wirkliches Glück. Das Wetter war gut, die Anlage nur wenig gebucht. Ausstattung ist ausreichend für kleine Mahlzeiten. Der Gläserbestand ist etwas dürftig und wer gerne Wassergläser mit mehr als 150 ml hat, sollte seine eigene mitbringen. Der Naturweg ist genau ein solcher, aber darauf waren wir eingestellt. Sauber, ruhig und funktional.”

    “Bardzo urokliwie położony obiekt, z pięknymi widokami, pokoje zgodne z opisem, zadawalające wyposażenie apartamentu, indywidualny dla apartamentu zewnętrzny ogródek z grilem pozwalający na przebywanie i spożywanie posiłków na zewnątrz, basen z leżakami i parasolem przypisany do apartementu.”

    “Mit Liebe zum Detail renoviertes Objekt, sehr angenehme Kombination von Privatsphäre im Terassenbereich und Austauschmöglichkeit mit den anderen Gästen im gemeinsam genutzten Poolbereich.

    Ausstattung und Einrichtung den 2 Sternen angemessen, es hat nichts wirklich gefehlt.
    Pool war einfach top!

    Da das Objekt inmitten der Natur umgeben von Olivenbäumen auf einem bewaldeten Hügel liegt, würden wir bei der Benotung der Ruhe sogar eine 5/5 geben. Die angegebenen 3/5 durch die Hellhörigkeit des Gebäudes selbst sind aber auch gerechtfertigt.

    Nachteil war, dass kein Restaurant in Fußentfernung zu erreichen war: Die ca. 4km Naturstraße (entspricht ca. 10 Autominuten) entfernte Pizzeria La Forra und vor allem die Osteria im nächstgelegen Ort Montegonzi sind aber absolut weiterzuempfehlen.
    Sehr gutes Essen, Reservierung aber empfehlenswert, da Osteria auch stark von den Einheimischen frequentiert wird.”
