Apartment with balcony in the first row by the sea

The apartment measures around 80m² and is suitable for five people. It has a TV with international channels, air conditioning with an inverter (with a heating function), and wireless Internet access. There are two bedrooms with a double bed and three single beds, and a small children’s bed can be provided. The apartment also has a fully-equipped kitchen with electric and gas cooking rings, a fridge with a freezer compartment, a microwave with a baking function, a coffee machine, a kettle, cutlery and crockery. There are two bathrooms, one with a bath, toilet, washbasin and a cupboard with a mirror. Bed linen, hand towels, tea towels, washing up liquid and toilet paper are provided. You can share use of our washing machine. There are clothes horses in the apartment.

The owners also sell their own organic farm products in the neighbouring village, such as wine, spirits and olive oil. The owners are a German-Croatian couple who also speak English. They are communicative and helpful. They would be happy to introduce you to Poljica, which is at the heart of the tourist area. You can go on many trips from here, such as to the surrounding islands, the old UNESCO town of Trogir, Krka National Park, or a visit to the Neanderthal Museum in Split or the owners’ organic farm in Vrsine. There is something for everyone. Poljica is just a 20-minute drive from Split airport. The owners can provide transport. In Poljica there are two bus stops, with connections every half an hour to the surrounding towns.

A beautiful garden with three big fig trees lies between you and the sea. In summer you can pick fresh figs or eat them straight from the tree. If you are there at the right time of year, you can harvest the grapefruit in the garden. You can share use of the garden, with tables and chairs, a hammock and an outdoor grill. There are parking spaces in front of the house. Two moorings are available in front of the house and you can hire the owners’ boat.

There are two cafés, a bakery and three restaurants right by the promenade in Poljica.

    “Das Haus liegt fast direkt am Strand (etwa 50m). Tolle Aussicht auf die gesamte Bucht. Die große Wohnung ist zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen. Staumöglichkeiten (Kästen) fehlen definitiv. In den Schlafzimmern gibt es zwar Leselampen, aber keine Steckdosen bzw. sind sie nicht beim Bett. Die Betten stehen sehr, sehr knapp nebeneinander. Aber was solls: es ist Urlaub. Die anderen Appartements sind bereits renoviert, so denke ich, dass dieses auch bald folgt. Im Gemeinschaftsgarten kann man grillen. Wenn die Feigen reif sind, kann man jederzeit naschen. Der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich. Hat uns gut gefallen.”
