Holiday apartment with a balcony and a garden in quiet surroundings

The house is in the middle of a lovely farming village at the foot of Groppenstein Castle, about 2km from the centre of Obervellach.

The apartment for up to five people is on the second floor and has a bedroom with a double bed, a bedroom with three beds, two bathrooms with a shower, and a separate WC. There is also a living room-kitchen, fully-equipped with an electric stove, oven, microwave, kettle and coffee machine. Satellite TV is available.

The apartment has a balcony.

During the months from May to October the Nationalpark Kärnten Card provides free entry to over 100 trip destinations and attractions (cable cars, gorges, swimming pools, boat trips etc.). You can get the card at the tourism information and other positions in Obervellach.

The accommodation is centrally located between the two ski resorts o Ankogel Mallnitz and the Mölltaler Gletscher. You can get to both ski resorts with the free ski bus. If you do not feel like skiing, you can enjoy a couple of pleasant hours in the Obervellach sauna and leisure pool, play tennis in the tennis hall, or go on an extended walk in the lovely winter landscape of the Mölltal. In summer the house is an ideal starting point for hikes and walks in the beautiful Hohe Tauern National Park, or you can explore the network of cycling and mountain biking trails. Very nearby there are many other leisure facilities and trip destinations, such as wildwater river rafting, paragliding, minigolf, the Mölltaler glacier and much more (and included with the Nationalpark Kärnten Card!).

    “Die Wohnung ist in einem sehr sauberen und guten Zustand. Lediglich die Balkontüren sind wohl etwas verzogen und dort lösen sich auch einige Leisten. Die Ausstattung ist gut, mit vier Personen konnten wir uns bestens versorgen. Absolut super ist die Kärnten- bzw. HochtauernCard. Hier spart man doch einiges!”
