Holiday house with a sun terrace and a big garden

Spend a holiday away from stress. If you value comfort and cosiness, then this is the right place for you.

Two floors provide comfortable living, with nature as your neighbour. The ground floor has a generous living room with a sofa bed and a south-facing balcony, a kitchen with direct access to the sun terrace and the garden, a shower/WC and a storage room. The first floor has two double bedrooms, each with a south-facing balcony, as well as a bathroom with a shower, WC and bidet, and an entrance hallway with cloakroom space.

Casa de Menina stands in the midst of a big garden with pine and olive trees, in a quiet and sunny location. The newly built solid stone house with insulated walls was completed in May 2010.

The nearest shops are about 300 metres away, the nearest restaurants about 2.5km.

The outdoor area features a big, open sun terrace with garden chairs, sun loungers and a barbecue. You have a 1200m² garden all to yourself, with grape vines, olive, orange and various other fruit trees.

    “Het huisje is zeer netjes en van alle gemakken voorzien. Heel idyllisch gelegen in een wijngaard aan de rand van het dorpje. Zeer de moeite waard! Positiv: De rust en het mooie uitzicht. Ideaal om te ontspannen met een glas wijn. Negativ: De toegang naar het huisje is iets aan de smalle kant.”

    “Positiv: The house itself is very convenient. The owner is a very nice man. The countryside is beautiful in the spring.The view on the olive trees and the vineyard is magnificient and relaxing. We really enjoyed our stay. Negativ: The only disadvantage is the location of the house: it is a long drive from culture in the form of the sightseeing sites , but if you are more into nature: this is the place to be. Restaurant: Quinta de Lemos - This is a total experience of the combinations of the wines of the estate and the food which is very experimental in combining the ingredients of the springtime products of Portugal Ausflüge: Lunch at the Palace Hotel and walk in the Mata do Buçaco. - This is not a excursion, but a nice combination of 19 th century grandeur and a special forest with a via sacra”

    “Wir haben im Juli 2018 eine wunderschöne und unvergessliche Woche in der Casa de Menina verbracht. Das Haus mit seiner großzügigen Terrasse ist sehr geschmackvoll und liebevoll eingerichtet und sehr gut ausgestattet. Es fehlte an nichts.
    Ein gut gefüllter Kühlschrank hat uns überrascht und der Gemüsegarten, in dem wir uns bedienen durften, hat unseren Speiseplan erweitert. Den Salat könnten wir mit dem feinsten Olivenöl ( hauseigene Herstellung ) verfeinern. Bestes Olivenöl!!
    Besonders beeindruckt hat uns die Aussicht auf Olivenbäume und Weinstöcke.
    Hannes Blattner ist ein äußerst angenehmer Gastgeber, der uns tolle Ausflugstips gab. Die Tour rund um den Torre in der Sierre de Estrella, das Baden in den zahlreichen “ plaia de fluvias“ und Vale do Rossin waren Höhepunkte.
    Alles in allem ist die Casa de Menina ein außergewöhnlich schöner Ort für alle, die Erholung und Ruhe abseits der üblichen touristischen Pfade suchen und den wir uneingeschränkt empfehlen.”

    “Wir haben einen Teil unseres Urlaubs in Anceriz verbracht. Es war wunderbar! Das Haus ist modern, sehr komfortabel und man findet alles vor, was eine 4-köpfige Familie so benötigt. Gern haben wir auf der Terrasse am Haus gesessen, den Blick auf den Garten oder etwas weiter auf die Berge genossen. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Vielen lieben Dank für all die Tipps zu Ausflügen, Wanderungen, Bademöglichkeiten, Märkten, portugiesischen Spezialitäten.
    Leider war die Zeit viel zu schnell vorbei.”

    “We booked 10 lovely days at Casa da Menina. From the start we were in love with the natural beauty of the house and surroundings. We particularly enjoyed the laidback feeling of the area and feeling of total relaxation. We had everything we needed in the house and it was really the perfect holiday for our kids both under 12, who enjoyed the swimming opportunities in the beautiful rivers all around Anceric. We would definitely go back to Casa da Menina and special thanks to the landlord’s hospitality.”
