The Badia di Morrona lies halfway between Pisa and Volterra, in the heart of lands once walked by the Etruscans, and at a short distance from the village of Morrona .
The countryside surrounding this ancient monastery is that of a picture postcard made up of wide valleys, rolling hills planted with the Company\'s own vines, olive trees and dense woodland.
In the heart of the countryside and surrounded by vines you will find our farmhouses. Guests can stay here in the company of excellent wines and immersed in local history at just a few minutes from the spa town of Casciana Terme where well being and nature are in perfect harmony, and nearby to the village of Terriciola , famous for it\'s wines.
The Badia di Morrona is within easy reach of the historical cities of Florence , Siena , Pisa , with it\'s international airport, and the golf courses at Castelfalfi and Tirrenia. The whole area is seeped in Etruscan history, clearly represented in the nearby city of Volterra .
A complex of five large and comfortable apartments have been obtained by the renovation of three old farm houses that once belonged to the farmers of the old Monastery.
NANTIA
The renovation and conversion of the old stables has resulted in the N'Antia apartment.
The original features have been all converted giving to the apartment a fantastic feeling and a very cosy ambience.
The apartment is completed by a large kitchen and dining room that features a large and original fire place and 4 large bedrooms with classic and original tuscan furniture.
