House in Vale with patio and mountain view

The rustic icing of the resort with 200 sqm of living space and high-quality equipment for special requirements. The right choice for lovers of details and those who like exclusivity. We've built this holiday home from scratch on the layout of an abandoned farm's barn.

The accommodation offers spacious, light-flooded rooms. The 50 sqm large living room with oak parquet is accessible from the courtyard or the garden side porch. It includes the kitchen, a wood burning fireplace and seating for 18 persons. Also located on the mezzanine floor is a sanitary room with washer, dryer and toilet. The fully equipped kitchen makes cooking a breeze. It contains a great fridge combo, dishwasher, gas stove, coffee maker and espresso mashine, microwave, toaster, kettle, spices and more. If you want to take a break, we will cook traditional menus or provide you with farm products from the village. There is an outside and an inside staircase leading up to the four bright rooms (15 -18 sqm) in the attic. They are furnished with a double bed, private bathroom, TV set (Astra satellite), Wi-Fi Internet access and infrared panels. The outlook is reassuring: up to the village church and over the lush green of forested mountains. On arrival you'll find the beds freshly made. Hand and bath towels, shower gel and soap are also provided.

The living room opens out onto a spacious south-facing patio (30 sqm) with 20 seats. Stairs lead down from here to the enclosed garden bordered by a creek. We laid out the garden in three terraces: on the top level, there is a stonewalled barbeque, in the middle a small lawn, and the bottom level accommodates up to three cars. The total garden area is grown with flowers, various fruit trees and wine.

The entire interior of the house was chosen with care and is fairly new, including kitchen and sanitation facilities, mattresses and linen. All furniture, windows, doors and stairs where consistently made to measure. The solar-assisted central heating is backed up threefold. Either you fire up the water-bearing fireplace in the living room, which supplies all the radiators in the house, or an automatic control takes over the job and starts a gas heater and / or the electrical infrared panels at no additional costs for you.

The accommodation lies on a slope in the loosely built part of the village, facing towards wooded mountains. She conjures traditional menus fresh to the table to pre-arranged times. Also farm products from the village are available, such as: fresh milk straight from the udder, goat or sheep's cheese, forest honey and homemade jam, canned vegetables, Zakusca, wine and schnapps. • On request: Laptop, phone, shopping prior to your arrival, osteopathic treatment, riding horse, cot, rides in a donkey cart for children. • Tip: trip to our shepherds hut (Cozo Fantu) in the high meadows. Without any comfort but with lots of fresh mountain air for stressed lungs. A source emerges a stone's throw away, the cherries hanging in the trees, and cheese and milk you can get from the shepherd next door. See advices to other destinations below in this description. We aren't trained tourism experts. We are living in Vale and have joined together in a small and family-type construction company. After eight years of work we put trowels and saws aside for a while, breathe a sigh and dedicate ourselves to our guests. Today, at least two families and a number of villagers benefit from the fruits of this work. We foster a climate of openness and equality-based relationships. Be sure to find peace and relaxation here. Our homes are located on the village outskirts. Though in autumn the silence may be disturbed by the occasional rattle of a chainsaw, we daresay that your perception of peace and tranquility will change soon. You might find that it includes the songs of the birds in the morning, the roosters crowing, the donkey’s brays and all the other distinctive sounds. By leaving behind some advantages and disadvantages of civilization, you can hang ten and experience new thoughts popping up in your mind out of nowhere. Your temporary home will provide you a cozy ambience in fresh mountain air, you’ll be sleeping like a bear in his den. .

    “Das Haus ist sehr geräumig und sauber. Die hochwertige Ausstattung lässt auch nach westeuropäischen Maßstäben nichts zu wünschen übrig. WLAN ist inklusive, der Router verliert allerdings des Öfteren das Funksignal. Gleiches gilt auch für das Telefon, was aber im Urlaub absolut verschmerzbar ist. Die Terrasse, der Grillplatz und eine weitere Sitzecke im Garten bieten auch bei vielen Gästen ausgezeichnete Entspannungsmöglichkeiten. Die Lage ist sehr angenehm und ruhig, nur die Hunde im Ort melden sich häufig zu Wort, was uns allerdings nicht störte, da unser eigener schließlich kräftig mitgemacht hat. Die steile Auffahrt zum Haus (eine schmale Rampe mit ca. 1 m Höhenversatz ohne Seitenbegrenzung) macht am Anfang etwas Angst, zumal beim Herausfahren rückwärts, aber man gewöhnt sich schnell daran. Wer sich nicht traut, kann das Auto auch draußen stehen lassen, es passiert nichts. Wir (6 Personen + 1 Hund) waren absolut begeistert und würden das Haus jedem gern weiterempfehlen!”

    “Einfach ein super Haus! Dieser Komfort und Platz ist auch in Deutschland nicht selbstverständlich! Wir haben uns gut betreut gefühlt, das Haus war sauber und auch der Service toll. Dazu hatten wir Glück mit dem Wetter und konnten die Außensitzplätze genießen. Die Kritikpunkte fallen dabei kaum ins Gewicht: recht schmale Doppelbetten, z.T. mit einer Längsseite an der Wand, kein Backofen, keine Kaffeemaschine und ein defekter Toaster”

    “Besten Dank für das Lob, aber auch ein Wort zu den Kritikpunkten, die für uns schon ins Gewicht fallen. Wären Sie während Ihres Aufenthaltes angesprochen worden, wir hätten - bis auf eine Ausnahme - sofort für Abhilfe gesorgt.
    Ein transportabler Backofen und ein neuer Toaster hätten sofort bereit gestanden. Ebenso eine Kaffeemaschine, die wir erst auf Gästewunsch gegen einen Kaffeebereiter aus Glas und eine Espressomaschine ausgetauscht haben. Die beiden angesprochenen Betten lassen sich flott so umstellen, daß sie von beiden Seiten begehbar sind. Sie standen in dieser Position als wir mit der Vermietung anfingen, aber die meisten unserer Gäste bevorzugten bislang die zusätzliche Bewegungsfreiheit in den betreffenden Zimmern. Die 140cm breiten Matratzen (und Bettgestelle) lassen sich hingegen tatsächlich nur mit gewissem Aufwand austauschen - den wir trotzdem nicht scheuen, wenn sie sich wiederholt als zu klein erweisen sollten.
    Wir kümmern uns zu dritt um unsere Gäste und sind jederzeit ansprechbar. Bitte keine Scheu bei egal welchem Tipp oder Tadel, wir können daraus nur lernen. Und nochmals danke für die positive Bewertung die mir zeigt, daß Sie einen fünf-Sterne-Urlaub genossen haben.”
