Housing complex in an idyllic location in between the Sierra Nevada and the Mediterranean

This housing complex with several holiday homes is surrounded by olive groves. It comprised about one fifth of the valley (officially called Montesol), where you can find a few farms. Montesol is one of seven villages. It is the only one of the towns that can claim to have inhabitants from more than a dozen European countries. The town offers sustainable holidays by: a good distance from the next city, a rural area with a beautiful setting, the elevation, the proximity to the ocean and the Sierra Nevada (winter sports), without climatically being directly influenced by either.

In Puerto Lope (about 1.5 km), you can find a church, a school, grocery stores, restaurants, pubs, bakeries, a pharmacy, a doctor, a dentist, hotels etc.). It is also in an ideal location for hiking or horseback riding. Several horse stables can be found nearby. There is also a golf court in the vicinity. If you are a fisherman, Colomera (about 10 km) is your destination. The location is ideal to discover the cities of Cordoba, Jaen and Granada. The owner will happily supply you with information and materials upon request. We can also arrange the following activities: tennis and squash, a trip to historical cities, scuba diving, belly dancing, guitar lessons, riding lessons, night-time riding, paintball, golf, museum of Moclin, bull fights, cave paining (Molin), ultralight flights, Neolithic graves in Tozar, hunting (near Moclin - dear and wild boar), mountain climbing, visiting production sites of wine, cheese and olive oil. Additionally, from December through the end of April, winter sports in the Sierra Nevada (30 km beeline).

Spacious holiday house with a garden, a pool and a sun terrace

The holiday house is located at the foothills of the Sierra Nevada (Montes-Orientales de Granada), about 30 km from Granada, at the heart of eastern Andalusia. The 90 m² villa house on a 400 m² property and accommodates up to eight people.

All rooms are equipped with air conditioning and modern underfloor heating. On the lower level, you will find a bathroom with a bathtub and on the top floor, a toilet with a sink. The two bedrooms - one with a double (1.50 m x 1.90 m) and one with two single beds (0.80m x 1.90m) are also located on the top floor. There is also a separate dressing room and a utility room for your luggage. Large, double pane windows, offer welcome insulation. The spacious living room is furnished with two sofas and a television with satellite reception. The large dining table divides the living room from the open plan, fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen is furnished with a stove, an oven, a dishwasher a microwave, a dishwasher and a refrigerator with a freezer compartment. Four to five people can be comfortably accommodated. Up to eight people can be accommodates.

The country home has a front yard with a fish pond, patios surrounding the house and several outdoor sitting areas and a shaded pergola with a dining area. The highlight of the outdoor area is the sun terrace and the 4 m x 8m swimming pool. There is also a covered bar area at the pool.

    “Wir waren sehr angetan von dem Haus, es ist sehr geräumig und gemütlich. Es ist eine ruhiger Ort in den Bergen. Der Pool war sauber und groß genug zum schwimmen, zum Meer ist es aber nicht so weit, allerdings ist man hier auf ein Auto angewiesen. Da das Haus in einem Bergdorf (Montesol) liegt gab es nur schlechten Handyempfang für uns. Der Eigentümer spricht mehrere Sprachen so das es keine Problem gibt und gibt auch gerne Tipps was es in der Umgebung an Sehenswürdigkeiten gibt.”
