House in Makarska with Botanical Garden

This charming holiday house is in the quiet and idyllic little village of Kotisina, which is known for its botanical garden and variety of birds. It is located in the Biokovo nature reserve, just two kilometres from the town of Makarska and its beautiful beaches. This quiet location close to nature makes the house ideal holiday accommodation for guests seeking peace and quiet and relaxation, as well as those who would like to explore the town of Makarska.

The 100m² furnished and partially roofed terrace affords a wonderful sea view to the south. To the north there is a breathtaking view of the Biokovo mountain massif with olive groves. There is a little swimming pool for relaxing, with loungers, a whirlpool and an outdoor sauna. The garden with its Mediterranean plants is also an ideal place to relax. The 700m² site is enclosed and so suitable for children and pets. Parking spaces are available.

The 140m² air-conditioned house is tastefully furnished and provides all the necessary comfort for six people. It has two cosy bedrooms each with a double bed. The second bedroom also has a supplementary bed for one person. The two bathrooms have a WC and a corner bath or shower respectively. The spacious living room with direct access to the terrace has a dining space and comfortable sofas and armchairs, along with a sofa bed for one person. Entertainment is provided by satellite TV, a DVD player, a stereo system, a computer with Internet access and a home cinema. Bookworms will enjoy the little library.

As a change to days on the beach at the nearby beaches at Makarska (3km), you can go on organised trips to the beautiful islands or into the mysterious Biokovo mountains with their interesting grottos. The Makarska old town is characterised by narrow alleyways with restaurants, boutiques and many shops, leaving nothing to be desired. Near the house there are also many cultural monuments and a natural drinking water source. You can also explore the area on the two mountain bikes available for use free of charge.

Near the main entrance there is the highlight of the property: an old taverna, which guests can use. It is rustic with an open fireplace, wooden benches, a wine rack and old tools, which were used by the ancestors. The taverna invites you to enjoy getting together for leisurely and sociable hours.

    “Erholung pur! Es hat so viele schöne Verweilmöglichkeiten, dass wir es in einer Woche nicht geschafft haben, Alle zu nutzen. Die Aussicht ist top, auch der Blick zu den Felswänden ist beindruckend. Absolute Lieblingsplätze: freischwebende Liege oberhalb des Anwesens, Pool & Esstisch beim Eingang Haus. Die Besitzer sind sehr herzlich und grosszügig. Einrichtung und Pool in gepflegtem Zustand und stimmen mit den publizierten Fotos überein. Wir kommen wieder!”

    nur Terasse für Hund, da einige freilaufende Hunde/Katzen. Weingläser und Kaffeebecher gekauft, es fehlt an einigen Dingen. Bauliche Mängel - Wasser in Dusche läuft nicht ab, keine Belüftung in den Sanitärräumen, bei Regen tropft es in einem von der Decke!
    Im Pool lösen sich Fliesen und verschmutzt. Außengelände bedarf der gärtnerischen Pflege (haben die Boccia-Bahn vom Unkraut
