Lovingly furnished holiday home on a large property with community pool

The holiday house is located in Carcabuey, at the heart of Andalusia. It's in an ideal location to discover Andalusia, as you can reach many popular cities, such as Cordoba, Jaen, Granada, Sevilla or Malaga, within an hour's drive. It is a peaceful and quiet town amidst olive groves and the mountains, where you will spend an unforgettable holiday in peace and quiet.

There is a community pool on the fully fenced in property. The residents of the neighbouring house also have access to the pool. There are sun loungers in the pool area, from where you can enjoy beautiful views of the mountains.

The two storey house is comfortably furnished and accommodates up to four people. Another two to three people can be accommodated on a sofa bed and an additional single bed. On the ground floor, you will find a living room with a fireplace and a sectional and a fully equipped kitchen with a stove, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a dishwasher and a microwave. The ground floor bedroom is furnished with a double bed, the second bedroom is furnished with a sofa bed. The bathroom on the ground floor offers a shower, a sink and a toilet. On the top floor you will find a gallery with wooden ceilings and an additional double and a single bed. Furthermore, there is a small library and a wardrobe.

The vicinity of the house is made up of olive groves and orchards and the natural reserve Sierra Subbéticas. The town, Pigeon, can be reached via an unpaved forest path (about 900 meters). Shopping and restaurants can be found about 2 km from the property. You can also find access to public transport and a horse riding stable here.

    “Das Haus ist ein altes Bauernhaus, mit schöner passender Einrichtung. Küche und Bad sind modern. Die Beleuchtung ist etwas schwach, bei kleinen Fenstern, so dass es auch am Tag nur dämmrig ist. Das ist bei hohen Außentemperaturen eher angenehm.
    Das Haus liegt abseits, ohne weitere direkte Nachbarn, zwischen Oliven- und Quittenhainen und ist absolut ruhig. Nicht aufregend, sondern sehr entspannend.
    Das zweite, etwas größere Haus ist quasi auf der Rückseite, es war während unseres Aufenthalts nicht vermietet. Der gemeinsame Pool wurde regelmäßig gereinigt.
    Das Haus liegt ca. 5 km von Carcabuey entfernt, die letzten km bestehen aus einem kurvigen Feldweg.”

    “Ein herrliches Haus in einer paradiesischen Lage, in den Bergen (also nachts kühl), 3 km außerhalb von Carcabuey; nebenan ein zweites Haus derselben Vermieter. Verstreute Einzelhäuser in der Gegend (also nicht unheimlich einsam). Großzügige Ausstattung (AirCondition, Geschirrspüler, Waschmaschine), gepflegter Pool ( für beide Häuser) mit herrlichem Blick auf einen olivenbaum-bepflanzten Hügel und die weitere Bergwelt); auch gut für Kinder; Joggen und Wandern vom Haus aus. Großzügiges, junges, liebenswürdiges Vermieterehepaar (Marco arbeitet in einer großen Olivenpresse im Ort).Tagesautotouren nach Granada, Cordoba, Sevilla, Ronda, Malaga sehr gut möglich (also: Kultur im Überfluss). Es war alles noch viel schöner als wir erwartet/erhofft hatten.”
