Gli appartamenti, degradanti sulla collina, sono immersi tra agrumi, frutteto ed uliveto e godono di una incantevole vista da Capo d'Orlando a Milazzo. Fanno corona Alicudi, Filicudi, Salina, Lipari e Vulcano. Stromboli e Panarea si vedono spostandosi di poche centinaia di metri.

La collina è a disposizione per passeggiate, funghi, noci, mandorle, castagne e fichi d'india. Gli ospiti possono raccogliere la frutta di stagione, oltre limoni, mandarini, pompelmi ed arance, anche ciliegie, fichi, mele, pere, prugne ed anche i fiori e le erbe officinali. La cucina all'aperto, coperta da un tetto, con barbecue, tavolo, sedie, ombrelloni e sdraio, è un punto di ritrovo per gli ospiti che potranno usare a loro discrezione, nel giardino. Scale e scalette collegano le varie unità abitative che compongono, nell'insieme, un piccolissimo borgo.

A piedi (120 mt circa) si può scendere alla piccola chiesetta di Santo Stefano ed alla adiacente piazzetta con le palme.

    “Wir waren im Oktober 2010 für 1 Woche in dieser herrlich gelegenen, geschmackvoll eingerichteten, sehr sauberen Ferienwohnung. Sie liegt eingegliedert in ein Ensemble aus einigen Ferienwohnungen, terrassenförmig angeordnet. Die ganze Anlage ist sehr gepflegt, umgeben von einem wunderschönen Garten, mit einem traumhaften Ausblick. Die Anfahrt ist ein wenig kompliziert, aber wenn man es einmal gefunden hat, möchte man so schnell nicht wieder weg. Auch das auf Empfehlung von Paola besuchte Restaurant war zu unserer vollsten Zufriedenheit. Wir haben eine tolle Woche verlebt.”

    “Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet, sauber und ruhig. Der Blick über das Meer aus 380m Höhe auf die Liparischen Inseln ist grandios und entspannend. Zur anderen Seite zieht sich der Hügel noch etwa 150m hoch. Einige Olivenbäume auf kleinen Terrassen deuten auf die (frühere) Bewirtschaftung hin. Drachenflieger nutzen einen nahe gelegenen Kamm gern als Startpunkt.
    Die ruhige Lage ergibt sich aus der Tatsache, dass nur eine schmale und teils recht kurvige Straße aus Gioiosa Marea nach Marina die Patti vorbei führt. Für die Fahrt nach unten ans Meer braucht man in beide Richtungen ca. 20 Minuten.
    Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit, ihre Gartenanlage und der Parkplatz bieten viele idyllische Ecken.”

    “Die Höhenlage ist im Sommer toll da hier sehr angenehme Temperaturen herrschen. Die Aussicht grandios. Die Gastgeberin ist super herzlich und freundlich und es hat wirklich Spaß gemacht dort zu wohnen. Preisleistung stimmt. Alles super.”

    “Die Besitzerin wartete an der Autobahnausfahrt auf uns und begleitete uns zur Residenz - und das ist genau der richtige Begriff. Ein Duft von Zitrus-Bäumen empfängt den Gast. Eidechsen huschen über die Steine. Reife Früchte von Kirschen bis Nisperos wachsen einem schier in den Mund und wir durften uns bedienen, sogar am Salat und an den Kräutern. Kurz - das Anwesen ist ein recht großes "kleines Paradies". Alles hat gestimmt - vom Komfort über die Ruhe bis zur Sauberkeit. Auch die Restaurant-Tips von den Vermietern lohnen sich. Sehr gerne wieder.”
