Big stone house with a terrace and a garden, in quiet and natural surroundings, by a little pond

This two-storey stone house from the year 1925 is on a 3000m² plot of land with a little pond. It was built on the foundations of a former manor house and now serves as an ideal holiday residence for big families or groups of friends. The natural surroundings provide plenty of peace and quiet.

Right by the house there is a furnished terrace with a grill. The house also has an interior courtyard on the north side and a fenced garden (height of fence ranging from 1 to 1.2 metres) on the south side, with an adjoining little pond. It is not suitable for swimming or fishing, but provides a relaxing place to enjoy a beautiful view. ´A cot and a highchair are available. Two comfortable supplementary beds are also available, so the house can accommodate two further people if required.

The house offers 150 m² of renovated living space for a maximum of two to seven people. The ground floor comprises the kitchen, dining room and living room. The living room is furnished with a comfortable sofa and armchairs, TV and DVD player. The bathroom has a shower and toilet. A second bathroom, which also has a shower and toilet, is accessible from the garden and can therefore be used immediately on returning from the beach. There are three bedrooms on the first floor. The first has a 140 cm bed and a small private bathroom with shower and toilet. The second also has a 140 cm bed and the third a 120 cm bed. On the second floor there is a bedroom with a 140 cm bed and a bedroom with two 90 cm beds. There is also a small sitting room and study on this floor, and a bathroom with shower and toilet. The laundry room has a washing machine and tumble dryer.

Nearby there are beautiful walking paths. It is just 2km to the beaches at St-Jacut-de-la-Mer and the beautiful seaside resort of St-Cast-Le-Guido. There are shops and restaurants in the locality about a kilometre from the house.

    “Insgesamt ein schönes Ferienhaus in ruhiger Lage. Ausstattung zwar schon etwas älter aber zweckmäßig und absolut ausreichend, um einen schönen Urlaub zu verbringen.

    Der Wanderweg zum Sandstrand (ca. 3,2 km entfernt) beginnt ca. 50 m vom Haus entfernt und ist auch mit kleinen Kindern empfehlenswert.

    Die Gastgeberin ist sehr nett, spricht aber leider nur französisch.

    Das Grundstück mit dem großen Hof und dem großen, eingezäunten Garten ist super geeignet, um einmal zu entspannen. Auch für Hunde sehr gut geeignet.”

    “Das Haus befindet sich wirklich in ruhiger Lage. Es hat Charme, da es zum Großteil
    mit alten Mobiliar ausgestattet ist. Die Betten waren soweit i. O. Die Badezimmer sind ein wenig
    sparsam mit Ablagemöglichkeiten ausgestattet und auch eher beengt, jedoch funktioniert das heiße Wasser immer zuverlässig, was in unseren Augen wichtiger ist.

    Die Couch ist für 8 Personen sicherlich nicht gedacht, jedoch verbringt man ja seine Urlaubstage
    nicht unbedingt auf der Couch. Außerdem gibt es noch 2 Sessel und genügend Stühle.

    Uns hat der Garten sehr gefallen, in dem auch die Hunde ohne Probleme frei herumlaufen konnten, da das Grundstück eingezäunt ist.

    Die Treppen in die oberen Stockwerke zu den Schlafzimmern sind für unsere Hunde leider nicht begehbar gewesen, wobei dies natürlich an unseren Hunden lag (einer hat Angst vor unbekannten Treppen, der andere kann aus Altersgründen nicht mehr so gut Treppen laufen).

    Hervorzuheben ist die Freundlichkeit der Vermieter. Wir wurden sehr herzlich begrüßt, obwohl wir
    zu früh ankamen und fanden 1 Packung Kaffee, 1 Packung Kekse und 1 Flasche Orangensaft vor.

    Alles in allem ist das Haus wirklich weiter zu empfehlen für jeden, der in Ruhe in schöner Umgebung seinen Urlaub verbringen möchte.”

    “La maison est équipée de 3 salles d'eau, petites mais confortables. Seule une salle d'eau d'extérieur, accessible par le jardin, (pratique au retour de la plage) spacieuse, propre, peut-être qualifiée de rudimentaire.”
