Casa da Rocha. Rural style house located at the center of Caldelas village (a famous thermal resourt in Minho's heart).

Located in Minho's center, only 15 Km away from the city of Braga, 30 Km away from the city of Guimarães (world's patrimony), 25 Km away from the city of Barcelos, 40 Km away from the city of Viana do Castelo and 25 Km away from the national park of Peneda-Gerês, this is the ideal place for whoever wants to meet the whole region and discover his valuable and diversed patrimony.

Braga is the oldest Portuguese city and one of the oldest Christian cities in the world, founded in Roman times as Bracara Augusta, has more than 2000 years of history as a city. Located in northern Portugal, more specifically in the Valley Cávado.

It is a city full of culture and traditions, where history and religion live side by side with the technology industry.

The "City of the Archbishops'; for centuries its archbishop was the most important in the Iberian Peninsula, is still holding the title of Primate of the Spains.

    “Uriges, großes Haus mit sehr großem und schönen Grundstück. Super Pool, großer Terrasse. Zu beachten: die Zimmer sind auf mehrere Gebäude verteilt, teils etwas dunkel. Ausstattung lässt nichts zu wünschen übrig. Der Zustand derselben schon. Der Vermieter hilft auf Anfrage prompt. Er könnte sich aber auch so mal um die kaputten Glühbirnen oder Wäscheständer kümmern.
    Wichtig: Um den 25. Juli herum ist ein fünftägiges Stadtfest mit Musik bis nachts um 2.30h. Wer das mag okay, wer zwischen dem Hahn und den Kirchenglocken lieber Ruhe hat, sollte diese Zeit meiden.”

    “Authentiek huis met prachtige grote tuin en veel privacy. Overal mogelijkheden om te zitten in zon of schaduw. Nadeel van het huis is dat het een beetje onpraktisch is ingericht: veel trapjes, weinig opbergruimte. Maar de sfeer van het huis en tuin maakt alles goed. Je moet er wel tegen kunnen dat de kerkklok elk half uur slaat tussen 7:00 en 23:00 uur en dat de haan al in de vroege ochtend kraait.”

    “Für 8 Personen nicht geeignet, ebenso für Kinder wegen der vielen Treppen nicht empfehlenswert. In der Küche fehlt es an einer Arbeitsfläche, Töpfe, Geschirr, Bestecke sind überholungsbedürftig. Das Haus war uns insgesamt zu dunkel (kleine Fenster, auch noch mit Gardinen zugehängt). Es ist aber liebevoll eingerichtet, sauber und hat ein schönes "Drumherum".     “Ein wunderschönes und typisches portugiesisches Haus der besonderen Art, traumhaft mit dem Garten, dem Pool. Der Ort Caldelas ist sehr klein und niedlich, aber insbesondere die Umgebung des Hauses mit der wunderschönen Kirche und dem romantischen Vorplatz ist sehenswert. Einziger Minuspunkt der nicht so schöne Block hinter dem Grundstück, welcher aber kaum zu sehen ist vom Garten oder der Terrasse aus. Unser Vermieter war ausgesprochen nett, hilfsbereit und sehr bemüht um ein schönes Umfeld (Pool wurde täglich am Morgen gereinigt).”
