Furillen is located 2 km away from this home on an island that has a bridge built with limestone. There is also a hotel and a restaurant (in summer) in the old factory building. An impressive rocky region is located in Lergrav. The tallest rock is named as “Madonna with Child”. You can enjoy smoked flounder in the fishing village and just relax on the bridge and enjoy the tranquillity. Several former limestone quarries with lakes are located in Norra Gotland. You can take a swim in one of these lakes, if you do not have a mood to swim in the sea. Bräntings Haid Nature Reserve with a rich variety of flora (Breckland Thyme, sedum, thistles) and woodlark and nightjars bird species is located in Rute. Pets are not allowed in the guest house. Visby is just 52 km away.
