Two enclosed modern villas, each with their own private illuminated swimming pool, set amid olive groves in a quiet residential area on the outskirts of the village of Adele

Built in 2013, the two bright and modern villas “Harmony” and “Nature” are set next to each other in a quiet residential area surrounded by olive groves. The three-storey 180 m² villas are equipped with high quality furnishings to accommodate six persons each.

The villas are only about 250m away from the traditional village of Adele, approx. 8km east of the town of Rethymon, an ideal location for exploring the island’s many sights and attractions. The area below the village of Adele is known as ‘Adelianos Kampos’, the flatland that lies between the sea and the village.

Adele village offers all the necessary amenities including a doctors surgery, supermarkets, a bakery, a butcher’s and various shops offering shoes, clothes, souvenirs, jewelry and Cretan organic food products and cosmetics made from local olives and herbs.

The villas are about 2.5km away from a long stretch of beach with golden sand and crystal clear waters. The beach boasts a scuba diving centre and you will also find various water sports on offer. The city of Heraklion and the airport are about 77km away. xxm away is a bus stop, offering connections to Rethymo (how frequently, how long does it take)

The ground floor of the villa comprises a spacious living room with a fireplace, air conditioning and a big corner sofa, a dining room, and an open, fully-equipped kitchen. There is also a separate guest toilet and there is a bathroom with a shower. The rooms have modern furniture and indirect lighting. The three bedrooms are on the first floor. Two of the bedrooms have double beds (160 x 200cm), while the third has two single beds (90 x 200cm), which can also be joined together as a double bed. The mattresses are natural products and can be used either way up. One side is natural latex, ensuring a comfortable night’s sleep, while the other has memory foam. All the bedrooms have air conditioning. The upper floor also has a bathroom with a whirlpool bath and relaxing, indirect lighting. A children’s bed can be provided on request.

In front of the living room there is a terrace with a table and six chairs, where you can relax and enjoy meals outdoors. One of the bedrooms also has a big terrace with a lovely view, with a modern, wooden pergola as shelter from the sun and with a relaxation lounger. The other two bedrooms have little balconies.

    “Sehr schöne Villa, modern eingerichtet. Zur Begrüßung wurde das Nötigste vom Vermieter eingekauft - klasse! Ruhige Lage, nur 4 Villen nebeneinander. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind ca. 3km entfernt, ebenso der Strand. Tavernen sind in der näheren Umgebung. Mietwagen trotzdem empfehlenswert. Alles sehr sauber und schön angelegt, gereinigt wird die Villa alle drei Tage.”

    “Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt, die Ausstattung ist sehr gut und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Es steht etwas abgelegen am Rand des kleinen Ortes Adele. Der Supermarkt ist zu Fuß bequem zu erreichen. Dort ist nahezu alles für Ernährung und Haushalt erhältlich. Für alles weitere empfiehlt sich die Miete eines Mopeds oder Autos, insbesondere, wenn man den nächstgelegenen Strand ca. 8km oder gar andere Orte erreichen möchte. Der Pool ist nicht zu groß, aber völlig ausreichend. Das Haus ist am Rand einer Reihenvillasiedlung.

    Wie gesagt, die Ausstattung ist top gepflegt. Die Putzfrau kommt für den ein oder anderen sogar einen Tick zu oft (ich meinen jeden 3. Tag).

    Der Besitzer ist ausgesprochen freundlich und gibt sehr gute Gastronomietipps zur näheren Umgebung (Insidertipps) und zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten der Insel.”

    “Das Ferienhaus liegt am Ortsrand von Adele. Von der Hauptstraße nicht weit entfernt, sodass man alles recht schnell erreichen kann. Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut und das Haus sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Es fehlt an nichts . Von der Lage her ist es sehr ruhig und ein Mietwagen ist zwingend notwendig. Als wir angekommen sind wurden wir von dem Besitzer, der ein sehr netter Mann ist, Empfangen und eingewiesen.”
