“LA FORESTERIA di Villa Esperia”
Villa Esperia is considered one of the most beautiful properties situated on the south side of Lago Maggiore; it was built in 1870 by a swiss botanic thet found out that the natural wide valley presented a specific microclima which was perfect for the rare variety of plants.
For many years this property has been bought and sold by prestigious families like the Cadorna,
the princes Torlonia, and the Alessi family well-known in the industrial fields.
The Foresteria rises up inside the unique and incomparable park of the Villa Esperia.
Bought in the 2010 by new owners, the Foresteria and the Villa has been brought back to their beauty, mainteining the antique atmosphere but adding to the properties all the modern conforts.
The Foresteria, is a small villa approximately 150 square meters, whose access you will reach by a old stone staircase, as old as the Villa. From the windows of the Foresteria you can admire the beauty of the Borromeo Gulf and the natural reserve of Fondotoce.
On the terraces you will find tables, chairs, sunchairs and parasols for your relaxing time, all the balconies and small gardens are adorned with seasonal flowers.
Entering the Foresteria there is a large sitting room, a dining room with a kitchen area, three bedrooms (two are suite double rooms with bathroom ), for a total of three bedrooms and two bathroom..
Downstairs there is a large relax area , it can be room for children to play, a nice corner with a bar where you can relax with a drink and a beautiful terrace with shower outside, .
The Foresteria is furnished with antique furniture, and artistic objects and paintings. You can admire the original beam roof.
There is the possibility to park two cars.
Your pets are more then welcome.
The Foresteria has its own allarm system.
We can arrange with our staff, if you need help with your laggage, or extra services, letting us know.
If you wish we can organize the tour of the vaste property with the owner or with a member of our staff.

Inside the property there is a small area where regional wines and products can be tasted and bought.
Bicycles can be rented
We can arrange guided tours to the Lago Maggiore and its beauties, tour to Parco della Valle Grande, bird watching inside the Fondotoce reserve.
If requested we can organize formal dinners or parties at the Villa.

There are various beaches at a very short distance, both in Lago Maggiore or Lago di Mergozzo.
Several Golf Clubs are in the area, max 20 km.
Riding stables at 3 km.

The entrance for the highway direction Milano at 4 km (Milano center km 95, EXPO 80 km, Torino center km 145, Genova km 210).
Switzerland is reachable within 30 min drive, Ascona is only at 43 km distance....
