Holiday Apartment in Duće with Communal Barbecue and Panoramic View

This spacious 100 m² holiday apartment is located in a quiet residential area of the small traditional Dalmatian village of Duce just outsde the town of Omis on the sunny Makarska Riviera on Croatia‘s Adriatic coast, a perfect location for spending a relaxing beach holiday with friends or family.Comfortably furnished holiday apartment in a detached family house in first row to the sandy beach with a private sea view balcony and communal barbecue area

The holiday apartment occupies the second floor of a three-storey family house that was built in 1985 and has only recently been completely renovated in 2000. It consists of a living-/dining area with integrated open plan kitchen, two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a guest toilet. The air conditioned living area is furnished with a spacious corner sofa, a television, CD player, radio and even a small mini bar. A wide archway leads from the living area into the dining area with a large wooden table and five matching chairs. The adjacent open plan kitchen offers a dishwasher, gas cooker, oven, fridge complete with freezer compartment, a microwave, electric kettle, toaster and plenty of cutlery and tableware. The two bright and airy bedrooms are furnished with a 160 cm x 200 cm double bed each and both rooms are equipped with spacious wardrobes. The sofa in the living room can be converted into an additional double bed offering sleeping space for two children. One of the two bathrooms has a bath tub with a shower device and the second bathroom is equipped with a shower cabin, both bathrooms have a wash basin with wall mirror and a toilet. A separate guest toilet provides additional comfort. Reliable WLAN internet access is offered free of charge.

The living room gives access to your private 15 m² sunny south facing balcony which is furnished with a table and chairs. Here you can sit and enjoy your meals while taking in the panoramic view across the clear blue sea. Right next to the house is a generous barbecue area which you share with the holiday makers staying in the first floor apartment. A secure parking space is available right in front of the house.

The landlady lives in the ground floor apartment and is always available and happy to help with any questions you might have. Upon request and for a small extra fee, guests who have a motor boat licence can use the landlady’s boat (4m long) to explore the romantic and varied coastline. Those who don’t have their own licence can take advantage of the guided tours and fishing trips the landlady organises on the 11m long family boat. Small pets are very welcome.

The sandy beach is literally on the doorstep of your holiday apartment and here, you can rent kayaks or try a little jet skiing, tube gliding or parasailing. In the immediate vicinty of your apartment you will find shopping facilities, cafes and restaurants and approximately 2km away the town of Omis offers supermarkets and a good choice of gastronomy and night spots.

    “De keuken was zeer goed uitgerust, de bedden waren schoon, genoeg handdoeken, erg schoon, verhuurders zijn heel aardig Positiv: Het contact met de verhuurder was erg prettig, dicht bij zee, bakker en restaurants. Auto weinig nodig Negativ: Het balkon was een beetje klein en alleen maar rechtop stoelen.”

    “die Wohnung ist gut eingerichtet und sauber, super Lage zum Strand. Zum einkaufen und Essen gehen liegt sie zu weit weg und Omis ist zu fuß auch sehr weit, leider. Sonst gerne wieder. Am Strand waren viele kleine Kinder und jede menge Wasser spät möglich. Tolle Aussicht zum Meer, gut Klimatisiert, die Vermieter sind unkompliziert und nett.”
