A large holiday house with an additional holiday apartment and a garden, very close to the tri-border area of Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany
This former farmhouse was renovated in 2014 and is suitable for families or friends, up to a maximum of 12 people. The house is on a quiet cul-de-sac, just outside Gemmenich. It is only about 5km to the tri-border area of Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany and 7km to the centre of Aachen. You can enjoy a range of sports and recreational activities in the area.
This holiday accommodation offers you around 200m² of living space, comprising five bedrooms, two bathrooms and a cosy living room with an open kitchen for sociable get-togethers. The living room has a fireplace, a piano, a sitting corner, a dining table, a stereo system and satellite TV. The main kitchen is the kitchen open towards the living room, with a large fridge and freezer compartment, a stove, dishwasher, microwave, juice press, kettle, coffee machine and many other accessories. The 50m² bedroom is very spacious and has two single beds, a sitting corner with a flatscreen TV and free wireless Internet access. From this bedroom there are stairs to the upper floor, to the second and third bedrooms, also each with two single beds that can be joined together. The box spring beds measure 80 x 200cm. Bedroom four has a double bed measuring 160 x 200cm. Please bring your own bed linen and towels. The two bathrooms each have a shower, WC, washbasin and mirror.
The living room opens directly onto the roofed veranda with a cosy table and chairs. In fine weather, you can have meals here. There are two further terraces next to the entrance for sunbathing in the late afternoon. There is a large parking space.
This house has an additional apartment with its own entrance. It has a bedroom with two beds and a little kitchen. This bedroom provides the most privacy and peace and quiet. From here you also have a good view of the surroundings. In summer the house is pleasantly cool and in winter you can use the central heating. Note that the various rooms are on different levels, so it is not really suitable for those with restricted mobility.
You can do shopping or visit a cafe or restaurant within one to two kilometres. You can also find bicycle hire. Owing to the location near the tri-border area, you can go on trips to various countries and towns in the area. If you enjoy gold, you are also in the right place here, with a course just 500 metres away.
