Little holiday house in a quiet location right by the lake, ideal for nature lovers
This little holiday house is quietly situated right by a lake in Lapland.
It provides 45m² of living space for one or two people, perhaps with a dog. The kitchen has an electric stove and oven, a fridge with a freezer compartment, a microwave, a sink and an old wood-burning stove. Enjoy the view of the lake over breakfast. The combined living room and bedroom has a double bed (160cm wide) and a very comfortable sitting corner with German HD satellite TV (Astra), Blu-Ray-Player and a Yamaha hi-fi system with a mini-disc collection. The little bathroom has a washbasin, a shower cubicle and a WC.
There are several electric radiators, an air conditioning unit and a wood-burning stove in the kitchen, ensuring pleasant indoor temperatures in every season. Towels and bed linen are included in the rental price.
There are a boat jetty and a smoking hut on the lakeside site. Garden furniture and two bicycles are available (in winter two pairs of snowshoes) for use free of charge, whilst fishing equipment can be borrowed for a fee. There is a car parking space right by the house and there is also a little garage.
The location right by the lake invites you to go swimming, fishing and to relax. There are larger lakes in the vicinity, a three to five-minute walk away. The pristine nature offers many hiking trails, where you can discover the many wild animals and plants. The location, only about 95km to the south of the Arctic Circle, is also ideal for observing the northern lights in winter. The house is easy to get to from the airport in the main town of Arvidsjaur, about 30km away, where you can also find a good range of shopping facilities and restaurants.
