Holiday apartment in a villa with an enclosed garden and a parking space
This holiday apartment is on a hill with a view of the sandy beaches and dunes of Sampieri, in a house amidst a big garden on an enclosed site. This lovely area was also a film set for the famous Commissario Montalbano series.
The apartment provides a well-equipped living room-kitchen and a bedroom with a double bed, as well as a bedroom with two single beds. The bathroom has a shower and WC. A washing machine, iron, TV, wireless Internet access and a dishwasher are provided and you will soon feel at home in this wonderfully light and inviting apartment. There is heating in winter and a child’s bed or supplementary bed can be provided on request. Pets are allowed on request.
The garden, an outdoor shower, a barbecue and car parking space are all available for use.
The owner, a young Sicilian artist, is happy to assist with any queries and to provide advice with regard to sights, gastronomy or events. At the beach, Lido Patapata, you can hire parasols and loungers and also visit the restaurant there.
This part of the coast in the southernmost part of Italy is known for its fine sandy beaches and a warm, crystal clear sea, which you can swim in from May to October. The villa and the apartment are in the midst of a lovely, park-like garden site with palm trees, in the centre of the baroque triangle of Modica, Ragusa and Scicli. You can get to it along the Siracusa-Gela motorway from Fontanarossa and Catania airports, and along the Catanai-Ragusa-Pozzallo motorway from Comiso airport. You can go on day trips to Taormina, Etna, the Greek amphitheatre in Siracusa, Caltagirone, the mosaics in Piazza Armerina and the baroque Val di Noto. The harbour in Pozzallo is 7km away and Malta is 90 minutes away.
