Mit dem Auto ist man sehr schnell in Fucecchio, einem niedlichen kleinen Städtchen, und bei einem riesigen Supermarkt, in dem man alles bekommt, was man braucht. Empfehlenswert ist ein etwa zehn Minuten entferntes Restaurant, "La Casa Rossa", das mitten in einem Industriegebiet gelegen ist, in dem man aber sehr hübsch in einem überdachten Garten sitzt und für wenig Geld gut essen kann. Zudem sind die Entfernungen zu den interessanten Orten in der Toskana sämtlichst zivil - max. eine Stunde. Die Hügelstraßen haben es allerdings in sich!”
