    “Sehr wenig Gastronomie vorhanden, die Bedienung sprechen selten English, höchstens Wörter. Fisch und Fleisch waren immer sehr gut, aber teuer vor allem wenn man Salat, Antipasto noch dazu will. Fahrradweg im Hinterland nur teilweise erschlossen. Sind nach Porto Santo Stefano oder Orbetello ausgewichen. Für zwei Liegen & Schirm bis zu 25€-teuer. Sind zum Essen oft auf den Gianella Campingplatz oder nach Magliano (herrliches Abendflair) gefahren. Toiletten am Strand nur im Lokal. Wasser sauber, wie in Kroatien. Kein Rahmenprogramm für Touristen, scheinbar sind die meisten Römer oder aus Florenz. Naturpark Maremma ist OK. An der Hauptstraße den ganzen Tag reger Verkehr. Als Fahrradfahrer wird man teilweise beschimpft.”

    “Gianella ist nur eine Feriensiedlung, man erreicht aber sehr gut Porto Santo Stefano, Orbetello
    und Porto Ercole, alles drei sehenswerte und nette Städtchen mit guten Angebot an Geschäften
    Restaurants und Bars. In der Hauptsaison allerdings zu wenig Parkplätze, wer ein Fahrrad dabei
    hat ist klar im Vorteil - oder natürlich auch Motorradreisende. Das Preisniveau ist aus deutscher
    Sicht relativ hoch. Für Radfahrer und Mountainbiker gibt es tolle Biketrails und Radstrecken,
    z.B. auf den Monte Argentario oder um die gesamte Insel Argentario herum.
    Die Ferienanlage ist sehr schön und gepflegt, die Häuser sind gut beschattet durch hohe Pinien.
    Es ist ruhig, auch von der Straße hört man nur wenig.”
