    “Monte Petrosu ist ein kleiner beschaulicher Ort. Kleiner Einkaufsmarkt ist für das Alltägliche vorhanden. Auch gibt es eine sehr nette Pizzeria im Ort. Wer etwas mehr Abwechslung möchte fährt aber nach San Teodoro (ca. 5 Kilometer).     “Der Ort ist 'klein'. Es gibt hier kaum was...
    Es gibt 2 Pizzerien und Tabakläden. Zum Lebensmittel einkaufen oder morgendliche Brötchen kaufen ungeeignet. - Muss aber nicht sein. Dafür hat man Ruhe. Wir hatten Glück, es gab an einem Wochenende ein Ortsfest mit Bühne und Coverbands. Guter Startpunkt zu vielen Stränden in der Umgebung.
    Die Orte San Teodoro oder San Paolo sind so nah gelegen, dass man hier täglich hinfahren kann. Es gab kaum Mücken, wohingegen in San Teodoro fast eine Mückenplage herrschte.
    Nach Olbia ist es auch nicht so weit weg - Dort gibt es z.B. ein Shoppingcenter, wo auch ein Lebensmittelmarkt drin ist - so wie real bzw. Toom.

    Der 'Hausstrand' ist 1200m entfernt und bei Hitze zu Fuß nicht zu empfehlen. Man kann mit dem Auto hinfahren und es müsste auch in der Hochsaison ein Parkplatz zu finden sein. Wasser ist sehr gut. Strand hat etwas viel Kiesanteil, kleinere Bereiche auch feinerer Sand. Der Wasserboden ist hier voller Steine. Muscheln und Seeigel sind auch möglich. Zum Schnorcheln und 'Steine' sammeln für Kinder schön. Wenn man aber einen schönen flach abfallenden Strand mit Sand statt Steinen bevorzugt, dann ist in etwa 2,5 km Entfernung vom Ort der Strand etwas weiter nördlich besser geeignet und wirklich sehr schön und breit. Man braucht auf jeden Fall eine gute Karte oder Navi mit eingezeichneten Feldwegen. Die Straßen zum Strand sind oft unbefestigt.”
