    “Kleiner Supermarkt zu Fuß erreichbar. Ein größerer Markt (Konsum) ist in Blato (20 Minuten mit dem Auto). Im Ort Zavalatica sind zwei Restaurants sowie eine Bar. Die Gastronomie-Preise sind nach deutschen Maßstäben sehr günstig.
    Es gibt Fährverbindungen von Split nach Vela Luka (Westseite, 2 x täglich) und von der Ostseite (Korcula) zur Halbinsel Peljesac (ungefähr stündlich). Von dort fährt man gut zwei Stunden bis nach Dubrovnik.
    Die Insel Korcula ist sehr grün und zudem wettersicher also sehr empfehlenswert. Und selbst bei mir stellte sich kein Inselkoller ein.”
