Apartments on a very beautiful holiday complex close to the Cerreto Guidi old town, with a pool for children and adults


This small and pleasant, just recently renovated building complex in the province of Florence is integrated harmoniously into the Tuscan hills, which meant a lot already to Cosimo De’ Medici. Guests are offered hospitality, comfort and amazing views.

The apartments are traditionally decorated in a Tuscan country style, with solid wood furniture and cotto floors, the so-called Florentine bakestone flooring. The holiday apartment complex consists of a total of 16 apartments in the middle of a large garden plot. From each apartment there are paths through olive and oak trees to the swimming pool, affording a lovely view of Vinci and the surrounding landscape. The pool is surrounded by greenery and consists of two pools: a large pool (6 x 12.5m) and a kids’ pool (3 x 5m). Deckchairs, sun loungers and parasols are provided. You can relax and get away from it all. The pool is open from 1 April to 30 October. All the apartments on the complex are arranged around a big park, to which all guests have direct access, or which you can look out at from the terrace. The park has many types of trees and flowers, forming a charming whole. Other services and amenities: table tennis, mountain bike hire, wireless Internet access (payable), a grill. The complex also has a free parking area for guests.

This complex is also an agricultural enterprise, cultivating products typical of the hills around Cerreto Guidi: Tuscan red wine, white wine and extra virgin olive oil. All of these and a wide range of other items based on olive oil and natural ingredients by the company Erbario Toscano can be purchased directly at the reception.

Cerreto Guidi is in the centre of Tuscany. From here you can go on day trips to the major Tuscan towns and their famous places of historical and cultural interest. It is near a natural oasis in the marsh area of Fucecchio, 3km from Vinci, Leonardo’s birthplace, 40km from San Gimignano, 35km from Florence and Lucca, 45km from Pisa. 60km from Livorno, 55km from Siena and Versiglia and Viareggio with its famous carnival and fabulous beach promenade. Apart from the natural, cultural and historical beauties, other interesting places are also within easy access, e.g. Montecatini Terme (15 minutes), the Pistoiese mountains, where you can purchase organic foods directly from the producers (40 minutes), the hills of Montalbano with the smaller castles (Larciano, Cecina, Montevettolini…5 minutes), a fitness centre, a little football ground with astroturf (illuminated at night, 10 minutes away) and riding stables (5 minutes) etc.

Holiday apartment Isabella

The apartments of the “Isabella” type are three-room apartments with around 60m² of living space, spread over two floors (ground floor and attic) and they are charmingly decorated with attention to detail. They consist of a double bedroom with a shower room and a living room-kitchen (hob, fridge, oven, cookware, crockery, cutlery) on the ground floor, and a double bed or two single beds in the attic with a shower room. Heating, satellite TV, a fan and wireless Internet access (payable) are available. Outside there is a terrace with a dining table. All the apartments in this category are furnished with attention to detail and fully equipped, providing all the comfort and convenience of home during your stay. You also have access to the fabulous park that surrounds the property, as well as the pool for the exclusive use of guests.
