House

Can Borras is a charming house, situated in a quiet residential area of Puerto Pollença and only 400 meters from the beautiful Pollença Bay and its beaches. The 300m2 housewith its 5 bedrooms has capacity for 10 people and is surrounded by lawned gardens, fruit trees, paved areas and an outdoor pool area.

When you enter the house through the hall you find yourself in a luminous living/dining area on two levels with a sofa/armchairs and large dining table. On the right side there is a recently renovated kitchen, equipped with all necessary electrical appliances and a breakfast table.On this ground level you will also find four of the bedrooms and two bathrooms, one of which is an en-suite.

The first floor consists of another comfortable livingroom/games room with TV, a bedroom and bathroom.

Exterior

At the rear of the house there is an inviting pool with ample sun beds. Overlooking the pool a large covered porch/terrace with built in BBQ and dining area. It has also a laundry area, an outdoor shower, a ping-pong table and private parking. Located less than a kilometer from the sea you can cool off in the crystal clear water of the beach or just take a walk with mountain views.



Notes


Included in the price are bed linen, towels for the house, tea towels, the final cleaning and other costs (electricity, water, gas). The first cot and highchair can be provided free of charge. The Tourist ecotax is not included and should be paid on arrival.

Situation

Can Borras is located in the tourist area of Puerto Pollença. Together with Alcudia (the antic Roman Pollentia), Pollença and Cala San Vicente are the most beautiful areas of the north of the island. The highlights are the Calvary or the Roman Bridge, which dates of the 19th century, the Municipal Museum, the Music Festival and numerous art exhibitions. El Puerto de Pollensa preserves a long promenade and wide beaches. Cala San Vicente is a set of bays with crystal clear water. Puerto Pollensa offers a wide variety of shops, restaurants, bars with live music. The golf course Pollença is situated only 11 km far away from the house and a sport center is 3.3 km away. The weekly market takes place every Wednesday on the street Virgen del Carmen. The distance from the airport is 66,6 km.

    “It looked like it used to be a really grand place, but at present a bit run down. Shame about poor kitchen equipment and it would really benefit from having some basic beach toys. Positiv: The space, villa is very spacious spread over two levels. Nice garden, plenty of shade and sunny spots. The outdoor space great. Comfy beds. Nice layout. Secured.Lemon trees in the garden. Staff and cleaners very helpful.quiet at night and weekends. 15 min stroll to the beach. Kids really loved the villa, a lot of hiding spots. Negativ: The pool was unusable as very cold. The tennis table dirty and the hats dreadful. Radiators were not working but aircon was very useful to hear the place up at night. Poor kitchen equipment, not appropriate for big groups snd cooking. Great bbq area outdoors but unusable. House folder lacking key information. Internet - non existent. TV a couple of Spanish channels. Located by a main road, was quite busy during the day. Big construction at the back of the property meant that those in back bedrooms would wake up early.”

    “Obwohl das Haus direkt an der Hauptstraße liegt war es für uns ideal gelegen - zum Sandstrand sind es gut fünf Minuten zu Fuß und zum schönen Ort Port Pollenca ca. 15 Minuten zu Fuß. Somit brauchten wir an den Strand oder zum Broteinkauf kein Auto nehmen. Das Haus ist sehr geräumig und war sauber, die Küchenausstattung lies jedoch etwas zu Wünschen übrig; z.B. für den schönen großen Außengrill gibt es keine Grillhandschuhe, oder in der Küche fehlen Rüstmesser, Trinkkrug etc. Dies vor allem in Anbetracht der doch eher hohen Mietkosten. Die Schränke in den Zimmer rochen miefig und wir mussten "Schrank-Bedufter" kaufen. Anzahl Zimmer und Bäder für 10 Personen sehr gut. Platzverhältnisse für 10 Personen ideal und sehr geräumig.”
