Child-friendly ground-floor apartment and a cosy attic apartment by the Ems estuary

This is a holiday house on a fenced site with two holiday apartments, one on the ground floor, below the second one. The house has a terrace with a green garden and a parking space on site. Your accommodation is on a traffic-free road in a residential district on the outskirts, just four houses from the river Ems. The locality is by the Ems estuary into the North Sea, on the other side of the river, to the south of Emden.

The ground-floor apartment has a fenced garden outside, while the attic apartment features a balcony and a lawn area on site.

The ground-floor apartment can welcome up to five people within 65m² of living space and has two double bedrooms and another bed in the living room. The attic apartment above it is for up to three people and measures 45m², with a double bedroom and a bed in the living room.

The locality with shops, a mill and a little harbour is just 200 metres away. The Ems estuary into the Dorlart is 4km away, where you can swim depending on the tide- There are boats or catamarans straight to Borkum from the fishing harbour in Ditzum during the summer months, a wonderful day trip. You do not need a car, just walk to the harbour, climb aboard and off you go. There is also a little ferry several times a day with crossings to Emden.

Cosy attic apartment with a view of the local mill

The attic apartment is comfortably furnished for relaxing and resting. It has a little balcony with garden furniture, affording an open view of the local mill.

The living room opens onto the balcony with garden furniture and a beautiful view of the local mill and the Ditzum pond.
You can use the garden outside below the balcony, which is not fenced in. The apartment also has a parking space on site.

The tastefully furnished attic apartment offers 45m² of living space and welcomes you with a maritime ambience. An open living and dining room with a new kitchen, dishwasher, ceramic hob and oven, fridge with a small freezer compartment etc. await you. The living room has a comfortable TV sofa for relaxing and chilling, with the flatscreen TV providing an evening programme. It also has a pull-out sofa for a third person. The bedroom has a double bed with two mattresses and a wardrobe. The new bathroom is fitted with a large walk-in shower, a wall-mounted toilet, a washbasin with a cupboard underneath and a towel radiator. There is underfloor heating here, ensuring pleasant warmth in the bathroom even during the cooler season.

    “Positiv: Super modern eingerichtete Ferienwohnung, schönes Bad. Allerdings ist im Ort selber nicht allzu viel los. Man braucht schon ein Auto um die Gegend zu erkunden. Gern hätten wir ein Fahrrad ausgeliehen , aber der Verleiher war nicht vor Ort und beim Termin ausmachen wurde man weggedrückt. Es ist sehr ruhig und gut zum ausspannen. Negativ: Leider kann man sich die Leute die noch mit im Ferienhaus wohnen nicht aussuchen. Wir hatten das Pech ( wir sind keine Tierhasser) das die Gäste einen Hund hatten der den ganzen Tag permanent gebellt hat. Freizeit: Papenburg ist auf jeden Fall einen Ausflug wert. Sehr bunt überall Blumen die liebevoll gepflegt werden. Die Fehn in der Mitte mit alten historischen Brücken und alten Schiffen.”
