Holiday house with a fabulous sea view

This holiday house is quietly situated at the end of a cul-de-sac in Ražanac, a small Croatian town in Dalmatia about 23km from the town of Zadar. Ražanac is an ideal destination for holiday-makers seeking peace and quiet. At the same time, many places of interest and adventures are within easy access by car. The beach is 500 metres away.

The house of around 130m² comprises a living and dining room with sofa that can be converted into a bed (180cm wide) for two people, a coffee table, a TV, and a dining table with chairs. The kitchen is equipped with an oven, fridge with freezer compartment, stove, kettle and coffee machine. Two of the bedrooms are furnished with a double bed, 200cm wide and 180cm wide. The third bedroom has a kingsize bed 160cm wide. The beds are freshly made prior to arrival. The owner can provide a cot or junior bed for a daily fee. The two bathrooms are fitted with a shower, toilet and washbasin. One bathroom also has a bath. All three bedrooms and the living room with a sofa bed have free air conditioning. The whole house has wireless Internet access free of charge.

You can look forward to two generous terraces in the outdoor area. You can enjoy the sunshine for several hours a day on the sunny terrace with a wonderful view of the sea and the Velebit mountains. You can find a cosy little shady spot on the covered terrace with a sitting area and a stone grill. You can round off the day with a sociable grill evening. In front of the house there are four private parking spaces for use free of charge. Pets are not allowed.

A butcher, baker, post office, ATM, cafés, ice cream stands and a pizzeria are about 250 metres away. Early risers can buy fresh fish daily at the little market. It is worth going on a trip to Zadar just 23km away, voted top destination in 2016. You can visit the churches or go shopping and strolling. Kornati National Park comprising part of the Kornati island group is about 23km from the accommodation and can be visited on a boat tour. You can go on a family trip to the climbing park or a paintball match about 25km away. Apart from a range of leisure activities such as volleyball or basketball, you can party in Zrce and admire top DJs. The beach and the sea, as well as the harbour, are just a five-minute walk away.

    “Altmodisch aber sehr sauber und grosszügig. TOP! Positiv: Die Lage war sehr gut. Ruhige Seiten Strasse mit praktisch null Verkehr Negativ: Die Küche könnte wieder mal eine Renovierung gebrauchen”

    “Von der Ausstattung einfach, aber für 14 Tage Urlaub ausreichend
    Vermieter selber war nicht vor Ort, aber wir wurden vom Papa reichlich mit frischen Tomaten aus dem eigenen Garten versorgt und er war immer vor Ort, wenn wir was hatten. Das Haus selber war sauber, Bettwäsche wurde nach 1 Woche gewechselt.Die Angabe 500m zum Strand das trifft nicht ganz zu, zu Fuß gute 10 min in normalen Tempo. Mit dem Auto konnte man auch runter fahren, aber Achtung kein Parktiket dann wird es teuer. Es werden auch nur Touristen aufgeschrieben heinheimische und Kroaten, hat man beide Augen zugedrückt. 1h Stunde 5 kuna kostet das parken.
    Der Ort selber ist unserer Meinung nach noch zu schlecht auf Touristen eingestellt, einige Läden haben Sonntag zu oder nur bis 13:00 Uhr geöffnet, es gibt nur einen Bäcker was für uns dann der Weg alle 2 Tage war um in den nächst gelegenen Ort zu fahren um mehr Auswahl an Brot und Brötchen zu haben ca. 13 min Fahrt. Mit deutsch war es schlecht sich zu verständigen, Englisch war dann die umgängliche Sprache. Mit der touristischen Versorgung in Sachen mal Pommes oder mal Crêpes, ließ auch zu wünschen übrig, man hatte täglich das Gefühl wirklich Geld will in dem Ort mit diesen Kleinigkeiten keiner verdienen. Dauerte im Schnitt bis es fertig war bis zu 30 min egal ob Pommes oder Crêpes. Alles in allem kann man trotzdem schöne Tage in razanac verbringen. Zadar, krka Wasserfälle sind sehenswert und ca. in 1h mit dem Auto gut zu erreichen.”
