Renovated (2016), very quiet holiday house with an extensive site and an outdoor sitting area, just a short walk from the lake with a wealth of fish and a boat
This holiday house is in the Västergötland region. The house looks out at the Hisson lake, which is just one or two minutes’ walk away. All around the house there is forest. Neighbours are out of sight and earshot. The access road ends at the site.
The stand-along holiday house measures 80m² and can accommodate up to six people. It was fully modernised in 2016. The house is accessed through a hallway with space for shoes and coats. From there you can access the living room that opens towards the kitchen, with a cosy corner sofa and satellite TV (including German channels), inviting you to sit and relax. During the modernisation, the ceilings were removed in the living room and kitchen and the house was opened up to the roof. The rustic ceiling beams were exposed. There is a V-Tech games console for children by the TV. The kitchen is a mixture of old and modern. You can find all the necessary appliances, including a toaster, coffee machine, kettle, microwave, ceramic hob, oven and dishwasher. A cosy sitting corner invites you to relax. The kitchen provides access to the highlight, especially for children, namely the sleeping gallery. Children can withdraw here to chill out and play. This sleeping loft has two mattresses 90cm wide and there are also toys for children. The kitchen also provides access to the fully tiled bathroom with a shower. Both bedrooms are furnished with a double bed (180cm wide) and clothes storage space. All the rooms except the sleeping loft are fitted with electric radiators. A fireplace or tiled fireplace stove will be added later. Books are available throughout the house for bookworms.
The site is exceptionally extensive with plenty of space for children to run around and play. There is outdoor seating and a grill is also available.
Wi-Fi is available on request and for an extra fee depending on usage (5 GB for one week or 30 GB for four weeks at a reduced price).
The Hisson Lake with a wealth of fish also has a boat jetty with a boat, use of which is included, but note that it can only be made available for use on request. There are many elk in the surroundings and you can gather mushrooms and berries in season. It is 6km to Överida, with an ice cream stall, a petrol station and a bank. For larger shopping trips you can drive to Svenljunga, Kinna oder Ullared 19, 30, 35 km away. You can buy bread rolls and other basics at the campsite in Överlida during the season.
