Comfortably furnished holiday house with a private garden and certified by DTV
This two-storey holiday house is conveniently and centrally situated in Geestland, part of Drangstedt, near Bremerhaven and Cuxhaven in the Cuxland. The house was built in 1900 and was last renovated in 2012 and opened as a holiday house.
The accommodation is of a high standard and is generously equipped. It was certified by DTV (German Tourism Association) in October 2012 as five-star for eight people. It is possible to add two supplementary beds for a total of 10 guests (two people per 140cm bed). The house has a large living and dining room with two sofas, a coffee table, a TV with a DVD player, a stereo system with a CD player and radio, a large dining table with plenty of chairs and a big tiled fireplace stove as the centrepiece of the room. The open kitchen, also in the living room, is equipped with an oven, a ceramic hob, a fridge and freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle and coffee machine. On the ground floor there are also two bedrooms each with a double bed (180cm wide) and a bathroom with a shower, two washbasins, a WC, a towel holder and a hairdryer. Stairs lead to the upper floor with four further bedrooms, of which two are furnished with a double bed (140cm wide), one with a king size bed (160cm wide) and one with a bed 120cm wide. There are two bathrooms, one with a shower and one with a bath, on this floor. The upper floor also has a second little living room with a second TV and children’s books and games (e.g. Lego, Duplo). A small stairway in the single bedroom leads to the attic with a cosy corner, which can be used as a playing area or for a supplementary bed. The owner can provide a junior bed/cot, children’s toys, a highchair and board games for all ages free of charge. You can use a washing machine and dryer free of charge. All the rooms have heating and free Wi-Fi.
The living room opens onto a terrace and the garden that cannot be looked into, inviting you to relax and play. You can switch off from everyday life here and chill out. There is a grill for sociable grill evenings. Parking space for three cars is available on three private outdoor parking spaces and a carport. Pets are not allowed. Smoking is prohibited throughout the house.
Important note: Due to the Lower Saxony Corona Ordinance (as of June 8th, 2020), the holiday home may currently only be used by guests from max. 2 households can be rented.
Owing to the central location, it is only about 250 metres to a kiosk with bread rolls etc, 1km to a restaurant, 6km to the nearest grocery shop and 400 metres to a bus stop. If you would like to enjoy sports, you can find a golf course (ca. 15km), riding facilities (ca. 4km ), a swimming pool (ca. 7km) and water sports (ca. 20km).
