Holiday apartment for two people with a beautiful garden, by the edge of a forest

This apartment is on the ground floor of a two-storey semi-detached house and is on the outskirts of the town Waldsassen, on a residential estate and just 50 metres from the forest. It is 2km to the centre of the little town. The house was last renovated in 2016.

The living space of around 65m2 can accommodate two people. The living room has two sofas, a wellness armchair, a coffee table, cable TV, a radio with a CD player, a record player with a cassette deck and a large cupboard. The new built-in kitchen is equipped with an oven, an electric stove with an extractor fan, a fridge with a freezer compartment, a dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle, egg boiler and filter coffee machine. The dining room has a corner bench with a dining table and a book cupboard. The bedroom is furnished with two single beds (90cm wide), which can also be joined together and have an electronically adjustable slatted frame. The bathroom has a spacious walk-in shower with an anti-slip surface, a washbasin with a mirror and cupboard, a washing machine with a clothes stand and a hairdryer. There is a separate guest WC with a washbasin and a WC. The owner can provide a cot, highchair, children’s toys and board games for all ages. Heating and free Wi-Fi are available in all the rooms.

The living room opens onto the roofed pergola with a canopy swing and a seating group. There is a further seating group in the shared garden, along with a children’s swing and a sandpit. Dogs are welcome and can run around freely in the 300m² fully fenced garden, as well as the apartment. It is possible to grill. Cars can be parked in the garage or on a private outdoor parking space free of charge.

The comprehensive house library can be shared free of charge. Musicians can find a guitar, an accordion and a diatonic harmonica in the apartment. Hiking guidebooks and maps are also available. You can use a drinks service. As the owner lives on site, you have a direct contact partner in the event of any queries.

Spend a relaxing holiday in the cultural centre of the Oberpfälzer Stiftland (Tirschenreuth area). The monasters town Waldsassen is idyllically situated in the valley of the little river Wondreb between the Oberpfälzer Wald and Steinwald, with plenty to offer culture and nature lovers. The much-frequented basilica concerts or the chamber music events invite you to enjoy music. The baroque monastery library hall is also worth a visit. The basilica is among the most beautiful baroque churches in southern Germany and the unique round building of the nearby Kappl church is also well-known throughout Germany. Nature lovers will enjoy the surrounding forests and explore the area along many hiking trails. Waldsassen offers a wide range of restaurants. Many places of interest in the area are waiting to be explored by car or on foot. The Czech border crossing is just five kilometres from Waldsassen and the radon spa baths Sibyllenbad in Neualbenreuth are ten minutes away by car.
