The apartment is in the Schernthainer guesthouse in a quiet central location in Dorfgastein. The cable car, public swimming pool, restaurants are all right nearby.

The apartment is on the first floor and consists of a living room-bedroom, a bedroom, a shower room with a WC, an entrance hall and a balcony. The living room-bedroom includes a fully-equipped kitchen unit with a fridge, ceramic hob, oven, microwave, kettle, coffee machine and toaster. It also has a high-quality sofa bed for two people, a coffee table, a dresser, a sofa armchair, a dining corner with an extendable table and a flatscreen TV. The bedroom is furnished with a very comfortable box spring bed (180 x 200cm) and a big cupboard.

The balcony has a table, four armchairs, two loungers and a parasol. The garden provides a garden shed, a children’s playground, a grill and garden furniture.

Summer in Dorfgastein means 115km of hiking trails to cosy mountain chalets and crystal clear mountain lakes, right on the doorstep. There are also suitable walks for families with small children or the elderly. Enjoy the indescribable view of the Hohe Tauern mountains and the local Salzburg cuisine at mountain chalets. The fresh mountain air will give you an appetite. If you prefer a bit more action, the mountains all around Dorfgastein offer 20km of waymarket mountain bike tours. If you would like to see the Dorfgastein area from a bird’s perspective, you can go paragliding or hang-gliding. Beginners can try it out with a tandem flight. You can also enjoy an active winter in Dorfgastein. In the Dorfgastein/Großarl ski resort, children can try out skis for the first time. The ski instructors at the Gastein or Angerer ski school will show them what to do. The more advanced and experienced winter sports enthusiasts can ski and snowboard down pistes where snow is ensured. At midday you can warm up and replenish your energy at rustic ski chalets.
