Elegant and functional holiday home with extraordinary architecture, landscape pond and panoramic view, in a sunny location in the heart of Upper-Vosges

In the heart of the Upper-Vosges, close to the famous Route des Crêtes, just next to the picturesque Alsace and the lakes of Gérardmer and Longemer this elegant house with extraordinary architecture can accommodate up to ten persons. The house and the large garden are facing full south with a magnificent view embracing the valleys of Fraize, Plainfaing and Le Valtin, just under the Vosges side of the Col du Bonhomme which connects the Vosges and Alsace.

The house was entirely rebuilt in 2011 and presents an extraordinary architecture with an elegant and functional furnishing, far away from the classical wooden construction. The living space of 170 m² is spread over two floors. On the ground floor there is the entrance hall and the living room with comfortable sofas, stereo system and a stove where you can sit by the fire and relax in the evening. In the dining room of 50 m² the dining table has plenty of space to enjoy the meals together. The large windows open directly to the south facing terrace. The functional kitchen is fully equipped and overlooks the living area and the dining room. It opens to a terrace facing west. A separate WC is also available. On the first floor there is the sleeping area with three bedrooms. The large bedroom for two persons has a large king size double bed and an ensuite-bathroom with shower and WC. Each of the two other bedrooms also has a king size double bed as well as two bunk beds so that each bedroom can sleep four persons. The bunk beds have a size of 90 x 200 cm and are suitable for adults. In addition there is another separate bathroom with shower and WC.

Four parking spaces are available. Alongside the house there is a barbecue area with barbecue, wooden table and benches. In addition you can sit outside of the large windows above the pond where you can enjoy a magnificent view of the surrounding countryside and the huge garden with the small landscape pond.

You might perhaps appreciate to rediscover a taste for reading or the joys of cosy chatting evenings in the warmth of the stove or to sit under a starry sky, according to the season. You have also at your disposal a TV to watsch DVDs, if you would like to.

Of course you will find an extensive range of different leisure activities, like skiing, hiking, mountain biking or swimming close to the house. The house is only a 15 minutes drive from the skiing area.

    “Ein wunderbares Haus, geschmackvoll und klug eingerichtet, sehr sauber und viel Platz im Haus und im Garten. Anne und Zac sind sehr herzliche und aufmerksame Gastgeber, sie haben an alles gedacht, dieses Haus und seine Gastgeber verdienen einen extra Stern, die Erholung beginnt beim Betreten des Grundstücks... die Lage ist einmalig schön, der Garten mit Teich liebevoll und durchdacht angelegt.

    Man hat es sehr ruhig, der Blick abends ins Tal ist wunderschön, das Frühstück auf der Terasse ein Traum, wir hatten fast drei Wochen fantastisches Wetter und haben den Garten gerne genutzt.

    Wir haben jeden einzelnen Tag sehr genossen und kommen gerne wieder!”

Herausragend: Die Sauberkeit und der Komfort, man vermisst nichts und fühlt sich schnell Zuhause. Die Ruhe und die Aussicht im fantastischen Garten schafft lässt den Alltag sofort vergessen. Die Vermieter haben an alles gedacht, sind perfekte, herzliche und sehr aufmerksame und diskrete Vermieter, Ihre Tipps und Anregungen waren sehr hilfreich. Ein Extra- Plus waren die vielen Reiseführer und Bücher zur Region, die wir vorfanden. Wir haben so jeden Tag tolle Ausflüge und Wanderungen geplant und viele spannende Orte entdeckt.”

    “Groot, zeer proper, modern en alles is aanwezig wel elektrische verwarming die ervoor zorgt dat de eindafrekening wat oploopt.

    Zeer mooi gelegen met prachtig uitzicht! Rond het huis en in het dorpje zijn er niet veel mogelijkheden om terrasjes te doen wel zeer gezellig door de typische sfeer.”
