The comfortable semi-detached house Chalet Rüssji, which means "little rushing brook", awaits your visit. Relax on the large shared sun terrace with two seats.
The marvellous view over the Bietschorn and the Valais mountains invites you to linger and enjoy. Next to the Rüssji runs a mountain stream, which is full of water in spring and provides even more relaxation with its splashing.
The semi-detached house is tastefully and lovingly furnished and offers everything you need for a pleasant stay in beautiful Valais. On the first floor is the living room with a fireplace, the large kitchen with a serving hatch to the living room with dining area and a bathroom. If you go up to the second floor you will find the two bedrooms. In one bedroom there is a double bed, in the other bedroom a double bed and a bunk bed. The second floor also has a bathroom.
Special mention should be made of the fact that the apartment is accessed via its own garage, which means that in winter you don't have to scrape snow off the roof or scrape ice, and in summer the car never gets too hot. Access is also possible via an external staircase. In winter you can reach the ski slopes in 30 metres.

Summer

The Bürchen region will captivate you with its Valais charm. Healthy, smog-free Alpine air in summer and a breathtaking panorama prevail here.
End the summer day with a stroll through dreamy alleyways and visit a restaurant that will serve you your favourite drop for dinner. You will feel at home in Bürchen, whether you are a hiker, biker, mountaineer or simply a connoisseur.
Situated in the heart of the Upper Valais, Bürchen is particularly suitable in summer for visiting some of the neighbouring regions: the Aletsch Glacier, the towns of Saas-Fee, Zermatt, Leukerbad, Brigerbad or Visp. Other typical Valais villages worth visiting are also just a stone's throw away from Bürchen and Unterbäch. We recommend the 500 kilometres of marked hiking trails or 70 kilometres of mountain bike trails, Nordic walking trails, various themed trails or the Suonen, the historic irrigation channels in Valais.

Winter

Your holiday region offers a family-friendly ski area and has made a name for itself for this very reason. Away from the hustle and bustle on the slopes of the major winter destinations, the 25 kilometres of pistes here are still pleasant and easy to navigate. The ski region offers a fantastic skiing programme for winter sports fans of all ages.
In winter, you always have a clear run on the best ski and snowboard pistes in Switzerland high up in the mountains and in summer you have plenty of days for the most fantastic excursions in the great outdoors. Whether for skiing, snowshoe hikes, tobogganing fun or leisurely walks in the snow, this canton offers you perfect conditions for relaxing days in the mountains. For example, experience the fast-paced toboggan run on the 5.5 km route from the MOOSALP to Bürchen (Egga). You can reach the MOOSALP either on foot or with the Alpuschnaager.
Snow-covered trees, wide expanses of snow and a marvellous panorama invite you to go on extensive snowshoe tours or peaceful winter hikes. Enjoy the peace and quiet, recharge your batteries and soak up the beauty of nature on one of the winter hikes. The well-maintained hiking trails in the Moosalp region take you to the most beautiful vantage points in the region.
