House in a secluded location

The modern holiday apartment was built in 2004 on a slight slope. It is outside of the village Steinental right by the edge of a little forest and surrounded by meadows. The owners live in the annex.

The whole site measures 5000m². There is a 500m² outdoor area for your own exclusive use. This outdoor area is fully fenced and includes a car parking space. It also has a lovely terrace with a round wooden table for four to six people. There is a flower garden with berry bushes and a lawn ideal for children to play in or for adults to sunbathe. The lawn has fruit trees and a grill area for warm summer evenings.

The living space totals 115m², heated by a pellets heating system with central underfloor and wall heating. The spacious living room with a large window wall and a cosy sitting corner with a large flatscreen TV is ideal for cosy TV evenings. The big kitchen-diner has a long wooden table for up to six peope, a little sofa and a pretty Scandinavian stove, perfect for a cosy evening with family or friends. There is an adjoining little roofed balcony with a round wooden table, ideal for having breakfast in the morning sun. The big bedroom has a comfortable double bed (180 x 200cm), a big cupboard and an electric skylight, which allows plenty of sunlight in during the day and affords a view of the starry sky at night. The two small bedrooms each have a comfortable bed (90 x 200cm) and a cupboard with ample storage space, for children or adults. The bathroom is fitted with both a large corner bath and a massage shower, as well as a toilet and two washbasins with a large mirror. There is a separate toilet with a washbasin. A highchair can be provided on request. The house is non-smoking.

Even so, our apartment is not far from many of the most beautiful towns of the Allgäu and Oberschwaben, such as Memmingen, Kempten, Füssen, Leutkirch/Wangen/Isny im Allgäu, Ulm, Biberach, Ravensburg and the Lake Constance area. The area therefore has plenty to offer culture and shopping enthusiasts. But there are also many natural lakes and outdoor pools in our region, or great mountain and hiking trails such as the Hochgrad, the Steibis or the unique summer luge at Alpsee, popular among children and adults alike. There is also plenty to do in winter. There are lovely indoor pools in Biberach and Aulendorf, the ice skating rink in Memmingen, along with areas for skiing, snowboarding and sledging. Experience all of this and more here in the Steinental and surroundings.

What is great about our apartment is that it is in the countryside and so you can enjoy a beautiful landscape for walking, hiking, picnicking and grilling in the evenings in the large garden. You can also enjoy wonderful peace and quiet and many types of animals, from the beaver family that lives by the little stream and the stags in an enclosure a 10-minute walk away, to many special kinds of birds and the glow worms on summer days. We also have a husky, cats, hens and cockerels.

    “Ebenerdige, geschmackvoll und bequem eingerichtete Ferienwohnung, in der es uns wirklich an nichts gefehlt hat!
    Besonders hervorzuheben ist das tolle Bad und die Küche, die perfekt ausgestattet ist und in der es wirklich Spaß gemacht hat zu kochen, von Backformen bis Pürierstab war alles vorhanden.
    Die Vermieter waren nett und hilfsbereit, die Lage etwas außerhalb des Dorfes ruhig und der zum Objekt gehörende Garten bot die Möglichkeit zu relaxen. Unsere beiden Hunden liebten die vielen Schnüffelmöglichkeiten und veranstalteten auf der rundum eingezäunten Wiese so manche Verfolgungsjagd.
    Wir fanden den Preis vollkommen angemessen und würden die Wohnung jederzeit wieder buchen!”

    “Sehr schöne, großzügig und modern eingerichtete Ferienwohnung in absolut ruhiger Lage. Freundliche Vermieter, bei denen man auch frische Eier von eigenen Hühnern bekommen kann. Wunderschöner Garten zur Alleinnutzung dabei. Mobilfunknetz geht nicht, aber Vermieter stellt WLAN und ein Festnetztelefon.
    Wir waren mit großem Hund da - perfekt.”

    “Ein supertolles, liebevoll eingerichtetes Ferien- und Urlaubsdomizil. Uns hat es wirklich an nichts gemangelt. Es war alles im Haus vorhanden, was ich mir als Selbstversorger im Urlaub so vorstelle.
    Eingebettet zwischen hügeligen Wiesen, haben wir unseren Urlaub echt genossen. Die Vermieter sind ganz liebe und sehr nette, freundliche Menschen, das man sich gleich herzlich aufgenommen fühlte. Der Garten, unter der riesigen Lärche, lud trotz der knackigen Temperaturen diesen Sommer, zum draußen verweilen ein. Wenn man die Ruhe auf dem Land genießen möchte, ist dieses Ziel wirklich ideal. Die Seele baumeln lassen und einfach nur abschalten. Wenn man was unternehmen möchte oder zum einkaufen, sind es nur ein paar Autominuten bis nach Bad Wurzach, oder andere Städte sind nicht weit entfernt. Wir waren des öfteren in Memmingen (knappe 20 Min.) Dort konnte man durch die schöne Innenstadt flanieren. Wie gesagt, uns hat absolut nichts gefehlt, auch unsere kleine Hundedame hat sich sehr wohl gefühlt. Danke an die Vermieter, und wir sagen Daumen hoch. Absolut empfehlenswert!”

    “Ein liebevoll eingerichtetes Ferienhaus mit hügeliger Feld- und Wiesenlandschaft drumherum, einem Garten mit toller Schaukel und vielen Sitzmöglichkeiten. Wir haben zwei Kleinkinder und haben uns gefreut, dass der Garten komplett eingezäunt war, die Kinder sind schon morgens vor dem Frühstück raus und wir konnten gemütlich machen. Das Haus selbst ist eigentlich eine großzügige Dachwohnung, die am Hang gebaut ist und dadurch ebenerdig begehbar. Wir haben viele Ausflüge gemacht, waren in Bad Wurzach Minigolf spielen, in Bad Waldsee im Freibad, im Ravensburger Spieleland und sind bis an den Bodensee gefahren. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen, die Gastgeber waren wirklich freundlich und hilfbereit und wir haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt.”
