The house is carefully and minimally renovated with regard to the cultural-historical value. However, a modern kitchen and bathroom have been added for convenience.



On the ground floor there is an entrance, chamber (bedroom 1), large living room with fireplace, original kitchen with wood stove, pantry and modern kitchen with electric stove, oven, fridge / freezer, microwave, coffee maker. There is also a new bathroom with toilet and shower. In other parts of the house, the old charm has been preserved. The log walls are visible in some places, the thresholds are high and the doorposts are low. Via a steep staircase you reach the upper floor with an unfurnished hall and bedroom (2).

There are several lakes and streams in the immediate area where it is possible to fish and/or swim. Free access to boats in two lakes, one of which is about 200 meters from Linnéa. NOTE! The nearest lake sometimes has a low water level, which means that the boat is difficult to get out into the lake.


Hike in the surrounding forest, pick berries and mushrooms, and cycle on winding gravel roads and look for wild animals.



The property is strategically located in Småland with a variety of attractions and activities based on different areas of interest within a one to two hour drive. Agunnaryd is best known for the A in IKEA (Ingvar Kamprad Elmataryd Agunnaryd) and a visit to the IKEA museum is recommended. Other local celebrities include Carl Linnaeus, who was born in Råshult.

    “Wir hatten ein altes Haus mit Charme erwartet. Leider wurden wir enttäuscht. Es war nicht gemütlich und die alten Tapeten, einige mit Nägeln versehen, sowie die Feuchtigkeitsflecken wirkten eher ziemlich heruntergekommen. Das Obergeschoss ist nicht auf Besucher eingerichtet.     “Positiv: Es war ein schöner Urlaub in einer einfachen aber sehr schönen Unterkunft. Die Umgebung ist toll zum spazieren, wandern, Fahrrad fahren und Natur genießen. Der Badeplatz ist ca. 8km entfernt und lohnt sich zu besuchen. Man kann angeln in den umliegenden Seen und Flüssen. In der nahen Stadt Lundby bekommt man alles für den täglichen Bedarf. Wir besuchten auch das Märchenmuseum in Lundby. Die Vermieter waren sehr aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Negativ: Leider ist es sehr trocken momentan in der Gegend und die Gewässer tragen wenig Wasser. So konnten wir nicht mit dem Boot des nahegelegenen Sees fahren.”

    “Sehr schönes Haus in absolut ruhiger Lage.
    Teilweise schön und liebevoll eingerichtet und sehr gemütlich, teilweise aber auch noch in altem Zustand und nur provisorisch gelöst.
    Leider war der Zugang zum nächstmöglichen See nicht möglich, sodass wir ca. 8km zur nächsten Badestelle fahren mussten.
    Dafür waren aber Fahrräder vorhanden, die in der Ausschreibung nicht erwähnt waren.
    Eigentümer sind sehr freundlich und waren sehr hilfsbereit; haben uns mit allen möglichen Tipps versorgt.
    Kommen sehr gerne wieder!”
