Beautiful vacation home in a quiet location with fenced private pool in Prades-sur-Verzanobres (Hérault), just 40 minutes from the famous sandy beaches of Valras. From the veranda, you have a beautiful view of the pool and can easily supervise your children. This is outdoor living! Lovely barbecues in the garden and the southern French gentle way of life in the middle of a beautiful flower garden! Our little ones can let off steam here.
This vacation home in the Hérault, equipped with photovoltaics, is a good starting point for interesting excursions in the Languedoc: Prades-sur-Verzanobres, a small village, is just 5 km from St. Chinian. A charming market is held there on Sunday mornings. It is 30 minutes to Béziers and about 45 minutes to the beach. In the pretty villages of Roquebrun (15 minutes by car) and Cessenon-sur-Orb (10 minutes by car) there are several beaches along the river Orb.
Country wines are very popular in this region. You can find local producers in the magnificent vineyards. Try the different nuances of the AOC St. Chinian! In a landscape of garrigue with Mediterranean shrubs, overgrown meadows (thyme, rosemary, lavender), Aleppo pines and chestnut trees, the vineyards stretch along the river that flows through the village. It is only a few kilometers from the Canal du Midi and the beaches of the Mediterranean.
Numerous activities await the youngest within a radius of around 35 km: a water park, various beaches, a mini-farm, horses and donkeys to ride, bike hire, an amusement park, a zoo, an aquarium and much more.
The village's traditional festival with orchestra and mobile disco is a fun evening of dancing, eating and drinking, which can get a bit noisy. This festival takes place on the 3rd weekend in July and the last weekend of August to end the season!
