Spacious cottage in the town of Gunnebo. The house can accommodate several families at the same time. Very child friendly with several amenities such as walking distance to stores (about 200 m), Free internet access and Apple TV. The house offers laundry as well as dryer and dishwasher. There is a large dining table for up to 14 people and good opportunities for large groups to sit outside and barbecue, for example. The bathrooms have been renovated. There are workout facilities with cross trainers, rehab tapes, etc. indoors and easy walking trails with outdoor space nearby.
For families with children there are child seats, travel cots and for the older children a large trampoline, garden, children's toys and games. There are playgrounds nearby. Excursion destinations nearby are Astrid Lindgren's World in Vimmerby, which can be reached by car in about 30 minutes. Here you will meet Pippi, Emil and the other popular fairy tale characters. Öland's animal and amusement park is also within a radius where you can make day trips. Other nearby excursions include Virum Älgpark, where you can go on a moose safari and even feed a moose.
There are also many beautiful swimming spots with sandy beaches and cliffs in the area. The closest swimming spot from the house is Puksäter, child friendly with sandy beach and jetties, only about 7 minutes away by car. Gunnebo is only 13 km from the summer town of Västervik, which offers a good selection of stores, restaurants, a bathhouse and the Lysningsbadet adventure pool.
For anglers, there are well-known running waters in Verkebäck within walking distance. You can also take the narrow-gauge train to Västervik and make some tours by steam train.
