Detailed information about the alpine hut:
The lovingly restored alpine hut was built in 1632 and renovated with great dedication in 2000. In front of the hut there is a well-kept forecourt that invites you to linger and enjoy. There is no electricity connection in the alpine hut, but that gives it a very special charm. In the evening you can either enjoy the romantic candlelight or use the gas lamp. The cozy alpine hut consists of a kitchen-living room with a spacious dining table and a traditional wood-burning stove. The fresh mountain water in the hut and from the fountain outside is of course drinkable. The cabin has a bedroom with two beds and a second bedroom with a rustic Valais bed, also known as a Gütschi bed. Additionally, two mattresses are available to comfortably accommodate additional guests. A wood boiler, which is located in the basement and is heated with wood, is used to heat the water for the shower or washing up. The wood boiler is used. Access to Rosswald-Stafel:
Only with special permission, it is available in the hut.
Duration of rental:
We prefer weekly rentals, otherwise ask.

Tourist tax must be paid separately (Fr. 1.-- per child/day, Fr. 2.-- per adult/day) garbage bag fee
