The 2 1/2 room apartment with balcony is located in a chalet. The area is 47 m2. The chalet is located in a very quiet area with a wonderful view of the mountains. The chalet also has a sunbathing lawn which invites you to relax. The kitchen is well equipped. In the bedroom there is a double bed. There is also a shower with WC, cable TV, radio and WLAN. In the summer months there is a parking lot directly behind the house. In winter there is a garage in the garage. Pets are not allowed. Free admission to the sports centre (indoor swimming pool and ice rink). The house is very centrally located, only 100 metres from the nearest shop or restaurant and 500 metres from the gondola lift or railway station. The whole chalet as well as the studio is very well maintained. Grindelwald is ideal for a variety of sporting activities, as well as various shops and restaurants/cafés invite you to linger.

    “The main details inside the house were in English but there were some in Swiss German which we never did know what they were! Also the details that e-domizil give are incorrect as towels are included in the hire price but you have to factor in 50CHF for cleaning and visitor tax, which applies everywhere in Switzerland, of approximately 10CHF per day for a couple staying. So don’t get caught out! Positiv: The magnificent views and the peaceful setting. Negativ: The hill up and down to Grindelwald high street but soon got used to it and it was quite short! Restaurant: C&M - Small chalet building houses a fabulous cafe / restaurant called C&M, set slightly back from the high street on the right hand side on the way to the First Bahn. Although it’s menu is more limited than some it’s all homemade and delicious. Christine, the owner is very friendly and speaks good English! Ausflüge: Jungfrau - If you only do one visit make it this one BUT only if the weather is clear as it’s expensive so you want to be able to see the views. A train runs inside the Eiger and stops to allow you to see the glacier through a window cut into the Eiger. After that the Tain off loads up inside the Jungfrau . There is so much to see and do, snow fields with skiing and deckchairs, an ice palace etc. Wrap up warmly and wear sunglasses outside protecting yourself from snow glare. Also it’s very high so go slowly!”

    “Gut ausgestattete und saubere Ferienwohnung, sehr ruhige Lage im Zentrum von Grindelwald, etwas unterhalb der Hauptstrasse, in der nähe der Minigolfanlage. Freundliche und liebenswerte Gastgeber Positiv: Da wir Grindelwald bereits kannten, war der gedeckte Balkon mit top Aussicht auf das Bergpanorama, kann sogar bei Regenwetter genutzt werden, Ausschlag gebend für unseren Entscheid. Negativ: Internet könnte etwas besser sein Ausflüge: Männlichen, First, Kleine Scheidegg - es gibt so viele Möglichkeiten zum Wandern, Biken”

    “Positiv: sonniger Balkon Negativ: Sehr steiler Anstieg zur Hauptstrasse. Mit Skischuhen nicht so angenehm.
    Mit dem Auto nicht gut erreichbar, steile sehr enge Zufahrt.”
