The special refuge with a breathtaking view - start and finish of forays through the contemplative landscape of the Seetal.
MS Rigi was in service for 62 years as a cruise ship on Lake Lucerne. Today, its wheelhouse towers high above the Baldeggersee and invites you to an extraordinary holiday.
The cozy interior offers space for a 140 bed.
Shower, toilet, kitchen and dining area are in the house next door (separate entrance).
From the corresponding seat you can enjoy the unique view over the lake and the mountains.
In the area you will find an attractive hiking and cycling network. In addition, there is a charming Lido nearby. A tandem is available for free.
Shops and train station can be reached in fifteen minutes. Half-hourly train connections to Lucerne and Lenzburg (- Zurich).

    “Wir danken Gabi und Bruno für ihre Gastfreundschaft. Om Stüürhüsli zu übernachten ist einfach speziell und genial. Auch die Aussicht auf den Baldeggersee. Das hübsche Bad und die moderne Küche (jedes Mal hat Gabi uns Milch im Kühlschrank bereit gestellt, welche Überraschung), sie denken an alles. Positiv: Es ist eine tolle Unterkunft mit sehr sympathischen Menschen. Ein wunderschöner Ort zum zur Ruhe zu kommen und die Zeit zu geniessen. Restaurant: Restaurant Mühleholz in Retschwil - Sehr schöner Landgasthof mit guter Küche. Wunderschöner Aussicht auf den Baldeggersee. Sehr freundlich, grosse Portionen Ausflüge: Stadt Luzern - Sehr gut mit dem Zug erreichbar innert 35 Minuten”

    “Traumhaft schöner Urlaub Positiv: Die Ferienwohnung ist top modern und mit allen Kleinigkeiten super ausgestattet. Im Steuerhaus zu schlafen ist fabelhaft.
    Der Garten mit all den tollen Kleinigkeiten z.B. Grill, Sauna, Tandem, Sitz und Liegemöglichkeiten ist außerordentlich großzügig.
    Es gibt zu dem als Gast viele Angebote und Rabattmöglichkeiten, sämtliche Rad und Wander Routen und unendlich viele Seen und Berge zu bestaunen. Restaurant: Landgasthof Mühleholz - Top Lage am See, gut besucht, sehr schönes Ambiente. Ausflüge: Stadt Luzern - Seeufer am Vierwaldstätter See/ Schiffsfahrt oder Bergbesuch von Regi oder Pilatus.”
