Welcome to this cosy holiday apartment on a farm in Vallby in the heart of Österlen. Enjoy the peace and quiet and the marvellous view of the Skåne plain, while you can discover a wide range of attractions in the surrounding area. Österlen is known for its beautiful nature, the sea and white sandy beaches as well as the picturesque small town life in Simrishamn and Ystad. The popular medieval castle Glimmingehus is located nearby. Other pleasant excursion destinations are Sweden's southernmost national park Stenshuvud, Kivik, Svabesholms Kungsgård and the mythical Ales Stones in Kåseberga. Beautiful small fishing villages along the coast include Skillinge and Brantevik. There are many open studios, artisans and farm shops in the area. Take the opportunity to buy some of the famous rapeseed oil at the nearby Gunnarshög farm. Österlen also offers many restaurants and cafés, often with locally grown and produced ingredients. The sea and kilometres of sandy beaches along the entire coast can be used either for swimming and fishing or for long walks on the beach. Other nice excursion destinations are Kristianstad with Naturum and Vattenriket, Åhus, Brösarps Backar, Haväng, Tomelilla Sommarland, a trip with Ångloket on Österlen, Christinehofs Ekopark, Kronovalls Weinburg or Glimmingehus with medieval knight games.
