We warmly welcome you to our cosy 4-star holiday flat ‘Zur alten Schreinerei’ in the old gold mining town of Steinheid with its slate-roofed houses in the middle of the Thuringian Forest. Where windows, doors and gates were once made by hand, a wonderful holiday home has been created. Old tools and pictures tell of this time.
Today, a cosy, lovingly designed and comfortably furnished holiday flat with a spacious living room, a fully equipped kitchen, a feel-good shower, WC and two separate bedrooms with a special flair for a restful night's sleep awaits you on 80 square metres. Four people can sleep comfortably and enjoy their stay. An extra bed is possible at any time.
Two terraces surrounded by nature create a special atmosphere. From your flat it is not far to the world-famous Rennsteig, the high-altitude hiking trail of the Thuringian Forest.
The bakery and butcher's shop are within walking distance. Enjoy our original Thuringian specialities, which you can prepare on the charcoal grill provided.We are an all-inclusive host! If you stay with us, you will automatically receive the entrance ticket to all leisure facilities in the Thuringian Forest on arrival.
