Being located on a southwards slope, Villa Zaunkönigin, the holiday appartment for families, provides a spectacular and unspoilt panorama view to the Kreuzberg and the surrounding mountains of the Rhön. It is the ideal starting point for trekking tours. Right in front of the house, there is a bus stop and also a parking area for cars or motorbikes. The public indoor swimming pool of Haselbach or the town center of Bischofsheim can be reached by foot within 10 minutes, the nearest supermarket in 15 minutes and a public open air swimming pool in 20 minutes.

This beautiful and lovingly decorated holiday appartment is located on the ground floor of a villa which is surrounded by nature. With an area of 92 square meters (nearly 1000 square feet), it provides plenty of space for up to 8 persons. There are two comfortable bedrooms, each with a double bed and an enchanting play bed for smaller children, and one additional bedroom with a bunk bed for two teenagers or adults. To stimulate your culinary creativity, our large kitchen with designer furniture is well equipped with a cereamic stove, a baking oven, a microwave, a toaster, a sandwich maker, a popcorn maker, a dishwasher, a coffee maker, an electric kettle, an egg boiler, a waffle iron, a hand blender, a mixer, a fridge and a deep freezer as well as with a multitude of other minor and major kitchen tools and even with some cookbooks. From a cozy dinette in the kitchen's corner, you have a beautiful view to the vegetable garden and the park which surrounds the mansion. For major events with more people, you will use the living room where a large table can seat up to eight people and which can even extended to seat more. The whole front of the living room consists of windows and provide you with a spectacular panorama view to the Kreuzberg and other mountains of the Rhön. After dinner, you may want to relax on the comfortable sofa or on the rocking chair and read one of the books taken from the appartment's multi-lingual book shelf or switch on the TV. Or maybe, you prefer to sit at the piano and play a tune. Children will find it exciting to explore the children's cupboard which is equipped with toys and lots of children's books and cartoos (many of them in English, some in various other languages) or play with the ancient doll house. They may also enjoy our large collection of board games. Furthermore, the appartment has a large bathroom, equipped with a shower cubicle, a bathtub, a toilet, a bidet, a washhandbasin, a washing machine, an electric laundry dryer and a laundry rack, a vacuum cleaner, an electric iron with ironing board, a hairdryer, a baby changing mat and large mirrors. If the weather is pleasant, you can sit outside on the veranda and your children can play in the park or join some activities in our vegetable garden.

Guests can arrive between 3 PM and 9 PM.
Guests can depart between 7 AM and 11 AM.
Keys will be handed over to the guests upon arrival by the landlord.
Pets are not permitted.
Baby cribs are available.

Conditions and extras
The appartment needs to be paid in cash upon arrival. The landlord is allowed to ask for a first installment of 20% after the appartment has been booked. The booking can be cancelled free of charge up to 4 days before arrival; for later cancellations, a fee of 25% of the total price will be charged.

Additionally to the rent, all persons of 17 years or older have to pay 1 € Kurtaxe (visitor's tax) per night which we have to hand over to the administration of Bischofsheim. In turn, you will receive a coupon for a free visit to the public open air swimming pool, the public indoor swimming pool and the sauna which is located there.
