Period house, built between the 13th and 15th centuries, in the popular Réal district of Perpignan city centre, 4 minutes‘ walk from Saint Jean Cathedral and 20 minutes’ walk from the station. Close to the Place Jean Moulin, this old building is located in a pretty alleyway typical of the city. The house is 600 metres from shops, restaurants, a museum and a cinema. The old and the new combine perfectly, the owner has chosen every object carefully, and Frida Kahlo is present in almost every room...... Ground floor: entrance, 1st floor: large living room (hi-fi system) with sofa, bar area and dining room, relaxing lounge with TV. Kitchen, shower room (wc). 2nd floor: large bedroom (1 double bed and 1 single bed) with en-suite shower room and wc. Following architectural constraints, 1 bedroom equipped with a velux overhead window (1 double bed); 1 bedroom (3 single beds), bathroom (wc). Each bedroom is air-conditioned. The stairs in this old building are a little steep. Access to the garage (door 2.10 x 2.10 m) is via the narrow street. The garage can accommodate 2 city cars, motorbikes, bicycles, etc., with the possibility of parking a larger vehicle if you are good at tight manoeuvres. Easy parking at 1 or 2 euros per 1/2 day right next door, free parking nearby, guarded pay car park 800m away. Pets welcome.
