Idyllically situated in the middle of the forest and only a few steps away from Lake Zotzensee, there is a holiday apartment for two people on the upper floor of the former forester's lodge (now the owners' home) on the 2,600 square metre open residential property. . Ideal for guests seeking peace and quiet, active and nature-loving guests. The apartment has a rowing boat with bathing ladder, which can be used free of charge, and you can also use your own pedal boats and go fishing. Access to the apartment is via an unpaved path approx. 3 km through the forest. The non-smoking flat, which was extended in 2017 and lovingly furnished while retaining the beam construction, can be reached via an external staircase. It has a large combined living/bedroom (sofa corner, armchair, flat-screen TV, radio, double bed; 1.60 m wide) with an open, fully equipped kitchen (dining table, ceramic hob with oven, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave). Various small kitchen appliances) and a large bathroom with shower, WC and hairdryer. Additionally in the attic (ceiling height 1.65 m); accessible via open space-saving staircase; another sleeping place (bed 1.20 m wide, TV) available. The apartment is centrally heated and is equipped with insect screens and blackout blinds/heat protection on the roof windows. There is also a seating area in front of the outside staircase, a barbecue area and car park as well as a bicycle storage room/storage room. The total price includes final cleaning, bed linen, water and energy consumption. Please bring your own towels. To be paid on site: Tourist tax. Pets are not allowed in the apartment.

The "Mirower Holm", a district of Mirow, is a contiguous wooded area surrounded by several lakes (Zotzensee, Schwarzer See, Vilzsee). Mirow is a small town in the centre of the Mecklenburg Lake District between the residential town of Neustrelitz (approx. 25 km away) and the spa town of Waren/Müritz (approx. 45 km away). The town is located directly on the Müritz-Havel waterway (which also includes the Zotzensee lake) and is a centre of attraction for all water sports enthusiasts and hikers. Lake Mirow is the ideal starting point for a variety of paddling tours thanks to its connection to other bodies of water, and the town's biggest attraction is the castle island with Mirow Castle, which was only reopened in June 2014 after many years of restoration, the 3-Queens Palace, the idyllic Love Island, St John's Church and the Old Castle Brewery with its restaurant. There are several restaurants and cafés, a fish smokehouse, shopping facilities and boat and bicycle hire in the village.
