The bridges that span the canals lead you to the many terraces where you can taste the local cuisine. Every Friday morning there is a nice market.

Jumilhac-le-Grand: This medieval town has a beautiful castle and a large central square with terraces. The gold museum organizes Initiation to gold panning in the river. Book on time.

Thiviers is the capital of foie gras. Every Saturday there is a traditional farmer's market with lots of regional products.
