We recommend you head to Tomelilla, where you can spend a lovely day at Tosselilla Sommerland to the delight of your children. In addition to this popular family water park, the surrounding area also offers the lush Fyledalen valley with beautiful landscapes, birds of prey and rare plant species, as well as a coastline with beautiful beaches and sights such as the old town of Ystad, the Stones of Ale, Dag Hammarskölds Backåkra farm, the old fishing village of Kåseberga and Skateholm with the remains of a thousand-year-old settlement. If you are on vacation in this area, you should definitely also explore Glimmingehus Castle and the medieval town of Simrishamn with its romantic hollyhocks and stroll through the beautiful apple orchards of Kivik. Here you can experience the famous apple market in September. Many farm stores and art galleries also await you in Österlen.
