Welcome to this practical vacation home on the tranquil island of Arnön.

Do you enjoy outdoor activities? Do you prefer nature and tranquillity to luxury? Then take a closer look at this lovely cottage, which is located in idyllic surroundings near the water. The charming house is simply furnished, but offers nature lovers and those seeking relaxation everything they need for a fun-filled vacation. Here you can really make yourself at home and switch off. After an active day, enjoy your time together over dinner and playing cards, and in the morning you can start the day with a dip in the beautiful Vänern.

Explore the island on foot or by bike. Here you can hike in the protected deciduous forest of Niklasdal, watch birds or drive to the sandy beach of Stora Björnrukan to relax in the sand and splash around in the mighty Vänern. We also recommend exploring the mainland. Take a day trip to the Viking town of Karlstad with its rich historical heritage and stroll through the old town "Gamla Stan". The town of Kristinehamn is also worth a visit. Both cities offer many attractions, good shopping, entertainment and restaurants. The whole family can look forward to Vildapark. The park offers a skate park, a downhill bike course, an obstacle course, fitness trails and a barbecue area.

Note: Access to Arnön is regulated by a barrier, which is open between 07:00 and 23:00.
