In the former cinema of the small town of Thuir, surrounded by vineyards and the capital of the ‘Byrrh’ aperitif, it's pleasant to stay in this calm and airy 50s district close to the town centre. In this peaceful little town, you'll find a wide range of shops, restaurants and a lively Saturday morning market, not forgetting a visit to the village of Castelnou, listed as one of the ‘Most Beautiful Villages in France’, from which you can dominate the Roussillon plain. Ideally situated in the heart of the Aspres, 30 km from Collioure, Céret and Spain, 20 km from Perpignan. The flat, located on the first floor, was converted from the former Thuir cinema. It has been personalised and tastefully decorated by the owners, who are artists and craftsmen. You'll find ceramic crockery, sculptures and paintings created in their studio. On the ground floor, which is private to the gîte, there is a cool, leafy patio (40 m²) that will delight you on summer evenings... Upstairs is a large, bright living room with an open-plan kitchen, a sitting area with a large bench seat (70 cm wide) that can be used as an extra bed, a bright bedroom with a double bed (140 cm), and a shower room (wc). A parking space is reserved for you in front of the gîte. The discreet owners live on site, in another part of the building. They will be delighted to give you information about the activities available in our little corner of Roussillon.
For short stays of up to 3 nights, a compulsory cleaning charge of e40 is payable on site to the owners.
