Wonderful Apartment in Hofen with Terrace

This apartment is on the edge of a forest, so you can go on extended walks. It is about 4km to the south of Oberstaufen and is just 2km from Steibis.

Bed linen, kitchen equipment, towels and the final cleaning are included in the rental price. There is a bread rolls delivery service available in the mornings.

The apartment for up to four people provides around 66m² of living space. It has a bedroom with a double bed (two mattresses) and a children’s bedroom with a bunk bed (also suitable for adults). The living room and kitchen-diner are fully-equipped and furnished. There is a bathroom with a shower and WC. The entrance hallway is open. The apartment is at ground level with a view towards the edge of the forest and the meadow (see layout sketch).

The apartment is in the Nagelfluh nature reserve. Oberstaufen is well-known beyond the regional borders for its natural healing treatments. There are many viewing points with a view towards Switzerland and Austria. In winter there are a lot of cross-country skiing trails. There is a bus stop 5-6 minutes from the apartment, with bus connections in both directions.

    “Wir möchten auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. Es gibt soviel zu sehen und zu erleben in dieser traumhaften Natur mit ihren Wäldern, Bergen, Wasserfällen, Gasthöfen auf der Alm. Positiv: Die wunderschöne Ferienwohnung ist großzügig geschnitten und sehr sauber. Beim Frühstück auf der Terrasse schaut man direkt auf Wiesen und Wälder. Es gibt keine Nachbarn. Vom Haus aus kann man direkt Wanderungen unternehmen. Im Preis inbegriffen ist die Oberstaufener Plus Card, mit welcher man sämtliche Bergbahnen, Erlebnisbad, E-Bike-Verleih, viele Parkplätze und noch etliche andere Leistungen kostenlos nutzen kann. Die Gastgeber sind sehr angenehme und nette Leute, die bei Fragen mit Rat und Tat zur Seite stehen und immer gute Tipps auf Lager haben. Noch erwähnenswert ist der Brötchenservice mit unglaublich leckeren Brötchen, Broten und Kuchen. Negativ: Nichts ! Restaurant: Hündle Berggaststätte - Auf einer Höhe von 1050 m direkt an der Bergstation der Gondelbahn gelegen. In behaglicher Hüttenatmosphäre bekommt man warme Speisen, Brotzeiten, sowie Kuchen, Apfelstrudel und Germknödel. Bei schönem Wetter kann man auf der Sonnenterrasse die Aussicht ins Tal genießen. Bedienung sehr freundlich. Ausflüge: Eistobel in Grünebach - Schlucht mit rauschenden Wasserfällen und tiefen Strudellöchern, riesige Gesteinsblöcke und gewaltige Felswände. Über einen gesicherten Pfad gibt es verschiedene Rundwanderwege.”

    “Leuk appartement. Zeer vriendelijke en gastvrije verhuurder. Lekkere broodjes van de broodjesservice. Rustige ligging met veel privacy. We hebben veel gebruik gemaakt van de Oberstaufen kaart, die we bij het appartement kregen. Het enige minpuntje was dat het appartement wel een beetje gehorig is. De verhuurder woont boven het appartement en als hij thuis is hoor je hem rondlopen. Wij hebben hier op zich weinig last van gehad aangezien de verhuurder zeer rustig is en ook vaak weg was.”
